Revelation 6

1. And I saw <1492-eido-> when <3753-hote-> the Lamb <0721-

arnion-> opened <0455-anoigo-> one <3391-mia-> of the seals

<4973-sphragis->, and I heard <0191-akouo->, as it were the

noise <5456-phone-> of thunder <1027-bronte->, one <1520-heis->

of the four <5064-tessares-> beasts <2226-zoon-> saying <3004-

lego->, Come <2064-erchomai-> and see <0991-blepo->.

2 And I saw <1492-eido->, and behold <2400-idou-> a white

<3022-leukos-> horse <2462-hippos->: and he that sat <2521-

kathemai-> on <1909-epi-> him had <2192-echo-> a bow <5115-toxon-

>; and a crown <4735-stephanos-> was given <1325-didomi-> unto

him: and he went <1831-exerchomai-> forth <1831-exerchomai->

conquering <3528-nikao->, and to conquer <3528-nikao->.

3. And when <3753-hote-> he had opened <0455-anoigo-> the

second <1208-deuteros-> seal <4973-sphragis->, I heard <0191-

akouo-> the second <1208-deuteros-> beast <2226-zoon-> say <3004-

lego->, Come <2064-erchomai-> and see <0991-blepo->.

4 And there went <1831-exerchomai-> out another <0243-

allos-> horse <2462-hippos-> [that was] red <4450-purrhos->: and

[power] was given <1325-didomi-> to him that sat <2521-kathemai-

> thereon <0846-autos-> to take <2983-lambano-> peace <1515-

eirene-> from the earth <1093-ge->, and that they should kill

<4969-sphazo-> one <0240-allelon-> another <0240-allelon->: and

there was given <1325-didomi-> unto him a great <3173-megas->

sword <3162-machaira->.

5 And when <3753-hote-> he had opened <0455-anoigo-> the

third <5154-tritos-> seal <4973-sphragis->, I heard <0191-akouo-

> the third <5154-tritos-> beast <2226-zoon-> say <3004-lego->,

Come <2064-erchomai-> and see <0991-blepo->. And I beheld <1492-

eido->, and lo <2400-idou-> a black <3189-melas-> horse <2462-

hippos->; and he that sat <2521-kathemai-> on <1909-epi-> him

had <2192-echo-> a pair <2218-zugos-> of balances <3976-pede->

in his hand <5495-cheir->.

6 And I heard <0191-akouo-> a voice <5456-phone-> in the

midst <3319-mesos-> of the four <5064-tessares-> beasts <2226-

zoon-> say <3004-lego->, A measure <5518-choinix-> of wheat

<4621-sitos-> for a penny <1220-denarion->, and three <5140-

treis-> measures <5518-choinix-> of barley <2915-krithe-> for a

penny <1220-denarion->; and [see] thou hurt <0091-adikeo-> not

the oil <1637-elaion-> and the wine <3631-oinos->.

7 And when <3753-hote-> he had opened <0455-anoigo-> the

fourth <5067-tetartos-> seal <4973-sphragis->, I heard <0191-

akouo-> the voice <5456-phone-> of the fourth <5067-tetartos->

beast <2226-zoon-> say <3004-lego->, Come <2064-erchomai-> and

see <0991-blepo->.

8 And I looked <1492-eido->, and behold <2400-idou-> a

pale <5515-chloros-> horse <2462-hippos->: and his name <3686-

onoma-> that sat <2521-kathemai-> on <1883-epano-> him was Death

<2288-thanatos->, and Hell <0086-haides-> followed <0190-

akoloutheo-> with him. And power <1849-exousia-> was given <1325-

didomi-> unto them over <1909-epi-> the fourth <5067-tetartos->

part of the earth <1093-ge->, to kill <0615-apokteino-> with

sword <4501-rhomphaia->, and with hunger <3042-limos->, and with

death <2288-thanatos->, and with the beasts <2342-therion-> of

the earth <1093-ge->.

9. And when <3753-hote-> he had opened <0455-anoigo-> the

fifth <3991-pemptos-> seal <4973-sphragis->, I saw <1492-eido->

under <5270-hupokato-> the altar <2379-thusiasterion-> the souls

<5590-psuche-> of them that were slain <4969-sphazo-> for the

word <3056-logos-> of God <2316-theos->, and for the testimony

<3141-marturia-> which <3739-hos-> they held <2192-echo->:

10 And they cried <2896-krazo-> with a loud <3173-megas->

voice <5456-phone->, saying <3004-lego->, How <2193-heos-> long

<2193-heos->, O Lord <1203-despotes->, holy <0040-hagios-> and

true <0228-alethinos->, dost thou not judge <2919-krino-> and

avenge <1556-ekdikeo-> our blood <0129-haima-> on <1909-epi->

them that dwell <2730-katoikeo-> on <1909-epi-> the earth <1093-

ge->?

11 And white <3022-leukos-> robes <4749-stole-> were given

<1325-didomi-> unto every <1538-hekastos-> one of them; and it

was said <4483-rheo-> unto them, that they should rest <0373-

anapano-> yet <2089-eti-> for a little <3398-mikros-> season

<5550-chronos->, until <2193-heos-> their fellowservants <4889-

[were], should be fulfilled <4137-pleroo->.

12 And I beheld <1492-eido-> when <3753-hote-> he had

opened <0455-anoigo-> the sixth <1623-hektos-> seal <4973-

sphragis->, and, lo <2400-idou->, there was a great <3173-megas-

> earthquake <4578-seismos->; and the sun <2246-helios-> became

<1096-ginomai-> black <3189-melas-> as sackcloth <4526-sakkos->

of hair <5155-trichinos->, and the moon <4582-selene-> became

<1096-ginomai-> as blood <0129-haima->;

13 And the stars <0792-aster-> of heaven <3772-ouranos->

fell <4098-pipto-> unto the earth <1093-ge->, even as a fig

<4808-suke-> tree <4808-suke-> casteth <0906-ballo-> her

untimely <3653-olunthos-> figs <3653-olunthos->, when she is

shaken <4579-seio-> of a mighty <3173-megas-> wind <0417-anemos-

14 And the heaven <3772-ouranos-> departed <0673-

apochorizo-> as a scroll <0975-biblion-> when it is rolled <1507-

heilisso-> together; and every <3956-pas-> mountain <3735-oros->

and island <3520-nesos-> were moved <2795-kineo-> out of their

places <5117-topos->.

15 And the kings <0935-basileus-> of the earth <1093-ge->,

and the great <3175-megistanes-> men, and the rich <4145-

plousios-> men, and the chief <5506-chiliarchos-> captains <5506-

chiliarchos->, and the mighty <1415-dunatos-> men, and every

<3956-pas-> bondman <1401-doulos->, and every <3956-pas-> free

<1658-eleutheros-> man, hid <2928-krupto-> themselves <1438-

heautou-> in the dens <4693-spelaion-> and in the rocks <4073-

petra-> of the mountains <3735-oros->;

16 And said <3004-lego-> to the mountains <3735-oros-> and

rocks <4073-petra->, Fall <4098-pipto-> on <1909-epi-> us, and

hide <2928-krupto-> us from the face <4383-prosopon-> of him

that sitteth <2521-kathemai-> on <1909-epi-> the throne <2362-

thronos->, and from the wrath <3709-orge-> of the Lamb <0721-

arnion->:

17 For the great <3173-megas-> day <2250-hemera-> of his

wrath <3709-orge-> is come <2064-erchomai->; and who <5101-tis->

shall be able <1410-dunamai-> to stand <2476-histemi->?
