Revelation 11

1. And there was given <1325-didomi-> me a reed <2563-

kalamos-> like <3664-homoios-> unto a rod <4464-rhabdos->: and

the angel <0032-aggelos-> stood <2476-histemi->, saying <3004-

lego->, Rise <1453-egeiro->, and measure <3354-metreo-> the

temple <3485-naos-> of God <2316-theos->, and the altar <2379-

thusiasterion->, and them that worship <4352-proskuneo-> therein

<0846-autos->.

2 But the court <0833-aule-> which <3588-ho-> is without

<1855-exothen-> the temple <3485-naos-> leave <1544-ekballo->

out, and measure <3354-metreo-> it not; for it is given <1325-

didomi-> unto the Gentiles <1484-ethnos->: and the holy <0040-

hagios-> city <4172-polis-> shall they tread <3961-pateo-> under

foot forty <5062-tessarakonta-> [and] two <1417-duo-> months

<3376-men->.

3. And I will give <1325-didomi-> [power] unto my two

<1417-duo-> witnesses <3144-martus->, and they shall prophesy

<4395-propheteuo-> a thousand <5507-chilioi-> two <1250-

diakosioi-> hundred <1250-diakosioi-> [and] threescore <1835-

hexekonta-> days <2250-hemera->, clothed <4016-periballo-> in

sackcloth <4526-sakkos->.

4 These <3778-houtos-> are the two <1417-duo-> olive <1636-

elaia-> trees, and the two <1417-duo-> candlesticks <3087-

luchnia-> standing <2476-histemi-> before <1799-enopion-> the

God <2316-theos-> of the earth <1093-ge->.

5 And if <1487-ei-> any <1536-ei tis-> man will <2309-

thelo-> hurt <0091-adikeo-> them, fire <4442-pur-> proceedeth

<1607-ekporeuomai-> out of their mouth <4750-stoma->, and

devoureth <2719-katesthio-> their enemies <2190-echthros->: and

if <1487-ei-> any <1536-ei tis-> man will <2309-thelo-> hurt

<0091-adikeo-> them, he must <1163-dei-> in this <3779-houto->

manner <3779-houto-> be killed <0615-apokteino->.

6 These <3778-houtos-> have <2192-echo-> power <1849-

exousia-> to shut <2808-kleio-> heaven <3772-ouranos->, that it

rain <5205-huetos-> not in the days <2250-hemera-> of their

prophecy <4394-propheteia->: and have <2192-echo-> power <1849-

exousia-> over <1909-epi-> waters <5204-hudor-> to turn <4672-

Solomon-> them to blood <0129-haima->, and to smite <3960-

patasso-> the earth <1093-ge-> with all <3956-pas-> plagues

7 And when <3752-hotan-> they shall have finished <5055-

teleo-> their testimony <3141-marturia->, the beast <2342-

therion-> that ascendeth <0305-anabaino-> out of the bottomless

<0012-abussos-> pit shall make <4160-poieo-> war <4171-polemos->

against <3326-meta-> them, and shall overcome <3528-nikao-> them,

and kill <0615-apokteino-> them.

8 And their dead <4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-ptoma-> [shall

lie] in the street <4113-plateia-> of the great <3173-megas->

city <4172-polis->, which <3748-hostis-> spiritually <4153-

pneumatikos-> is called <2564-kaleo-> Sodom <4670-Sodoma-> and

Egypt <0125-Aiguptos->, where <3699-hopou-> also <2532-kai-> our

Lord <2962-kurios-> was crucified <4717-stauroo->.

9 And they of the people <2992-laos-> and kindreds <5443-

phule-> and tongues <1100-glossa-> and nations <1484-ethnos->

shall see <0991-blepo-> their dead <4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-

ptoma-> three <5140-treis-> days <2250-hemera-> and an half

<2255-hemisu->, and shall not suffer <0863-aphiemi-> their dead

<4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-ptoma-> to be put <5087-tithemi-> in

graves <3418-mnema->.

10 And they that dwell <2730-katoikeo-> upon the earth

<1093-ge-> shall rejoice <5463-chairo-> over <1909-epi-> them,

and make <2165-euphraino-> merry <2165-euphraino->, and shall

send <3992-pempo-> gifts <1435-doron-> one <0240-allelon-> to

another <0240-allelon->; because <3754-hoti-> these <3778-houtos-

> two <1417-duo-> prophets <4396-prophetes-> tormented <0928-

basanizo-> them that dwelt <2730-katoikeo-> on <1909-epi-> the

earth <1093-ge->.

11 And after <3326-meta-> three <5140-treis-> days <2250-

hemera-> and an half <2255-hemisu-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> of

life <2222-zoe-> from God <2316-theos-> entered <1525-

eiserchomai-> into <1909-epi-> them, and they stood <2476-

histemi-> upon their feet <4228-pous->; and great <3173-megas->

fear <5401-phobos-> fell <4098-pipto-> upon them which saw <2334-

theoreo-> them.

12 And they heard <0191-akouo-> a great <3173-megas->

voice <5456-phone-> from heaven <3772-ouranos-> saying <3004-

lego-> unto them, Come <0305-anabaino-> up hither <5602-hode->.

And they ascended <0305-anabaino-> up to heaven <3772-ouranos->

in a cloud <3507-nephele->; and their enemies <2190-echthros->

beheld <2334-theoreo-> them.

13 And the same <1565-ekeinos-> hour <5610-hora-> was

there a great <3173-megas-> earthquake <4578-seismos->, and the

tenth <1182-dekatos-> part of the city <4172-polis-> fell <4098-

pipto->, and in the earthquake <4578-seismos-> were slain <0615-

apokteino-> of men <0444-anthropos-> seven <2033-hepta->

thousand <5505-chilias->: and the remnant <3062-loipoy-> were

affrighted <1719-emphobos->, and gave <1325-didomi-> glory <1391-

doxa-> to the God <2316-theos-> of heaven <3772-ouranos->.

14. The second <1208-deuteros-> woe <3759-ouai-> is past

<0565-aperchomai->; [and], behold <2400-idou->, the third <5154-

tritos-> woe <3759-ouai-> cometh <2064-erchomai-> quickly <5035-

tachu->.

15 And the seventh <1442-hebdomos-> angel <0032-aggelos->

sounded <4537-salpizo->; and there were great <3173-megas->

voices <5456-phone-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->, saying <3004-

lego->, The kingdoms <0932-basileia-> of this <5026-taute->

world <2889-kosmos-> are become <1096-ginomai-> [the kingdoms

<0932-basileia->] of our Lord <2962-kurios->, and of his Christ

<5547-Christos->; and he shall reign <0936-basileuo-> for ever

<0165-aion-> and ever <0165-aion->.

16 And the four <5064-tessares-> and twenty <1501-eikosi->

elders <4245-presbuteros->, which <3588-ho-> sat <2521-kathemai-

> before <1799-enopion-> God <2316-theos-> on <1909-epi-> their

seats <2362-thronos->, fell <4098-pipto-> upon their faces <4383-

prosopon->, and worshipped <4352-proskuneo-> God <2316-theos->,

17 Saying <3004-lego->, We give thee thanks <2168-

eucharisteo->, O Lord <2962-kurios-> God <2316-theos-> Almighty

<3841-pantokrator->, which <3588-ho-> art <5607-on->, and wast

<2258-en->, and art to come <2064-erchomai->; because <3754-hoti-

> thou hast taken <2983-lambano-> to thee thy great <3173-megas-

> power <1411-dunamis->, and hast reigned <0936-basileuo->.

18 And the nations <1484-ethnos-> were angry <3710-orgizo-

>, and thy wrath <3709-orge-> is come <2064-erchomai->, and the

time <2540-kairos-> of the dead <3498-nekros->, that they should

be judged <2919-krino->, and that thou shouldest give <1325-

didomi-> reward <3408-misthos-> unto thy servants <1401-doulos->

the prophets <4396-prophetes->, and to the saints <0040-hagios->,

and them that fear <5399-phobeo-> thy name <3686-onoma->, small

<3398-mikros-> and great <3173-megas->; and shouldest destroy

<1311-diaphtheiro-> them which destroy <1311-diaphtheiro-> the

earth <1093-ge->.

19 And the temple <3485-naos-> of God <2316-theos-> was

opened <0455-anoigo-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->, and there was

seen <3700-optanomai-> in his temple <3485-naos-> the ark <2787-

kibotos-> of his testament <1242-diatheke->: and there were

lightnings <0796-astrape->, and voices <5456-phone->, and

thunderings <1027-bronte->, and an earthquake <4578-seismos->,

and great <3173-megas-> hail <5464-chalaza->.
