hupomone-> and longsuffering <3115-makrothumia-> with joyfulness

<2427-hikanoo-> to be partakers <3310-meris-> of the inheritance

15 Who <3739-hos-> is the image <1504-eikon-> of the invisible

16 For by him were all <3956-pas-> things created <2936-ktizo->,

that are in heaven <3772-ouranos->, and that are in earth <1093-

him, and for him:

17 And he is before <4253-pro-> all <3956-pas-> things, and by

him all <3956-pas-> things consist <4921-sunistao->.

18 And he is the head <2776-kephale-> of the body <4983-soma->,

the church <1577-ekklesia->: who <3739-hos-> is the beginning

<0746-arche->, the firstborn <4416-prototokos-> from the dead

<3498-nekros->; that in all <3956-pas-> [things] he might have

the preeminence <4409-proteuo->.

19 For it pleased <2106-eudokeo-> [the Father] that in him

should all <3956-pas-> fulness <4138-pleroma-> dwell <2730-

katoikeo->;

20 And, having made <1517-eirenopoieo-> peace <1517-eirenopoieo-

> through <1223-dia-> the blood <0129-haima-> of his cross <4716-

stauros->, by him to reconcile <0604-apokatallasso-> all <3956-

pas-> things unto himself <0848-hautou->; by him, [I say],

21 And you, that were sometime <4218-pote-> alienated <0526-

25 Whereof <3739-hos-> I am made <1096-ginomai-> a minister

26 [Even] the mystery <3466-musterion-> which <3588-ho-> hath

Colossians 2

1. For I would <2309-thelo-> that ye knew <1492-eido-> what

have <2192-echo-> for you, and [for] them at <1722-en-> Laodicea

<2993-Laodikeia->, and [for] as many <3745-hosos-> as have not

2 That their hearts <2588-kardia-> might be comforted <3870-

5 For though <1499-ei kai-> I be absent <0548-apeimi-> in the

flesh <4561-sarx->, yet <0235-alla-> am <1510-eimi-> I with you

in the spirit <4151-pneuma->, joying <5463-chairo-> and

beholding <0991-blepo-> your <5216-humon-> order <5010-taxis->,

6 As ye have therefore <3767-oun-> received <3880-paralambano->

Christ <5547-Christos-> Jesus <2424-Iesous-> the Lord <2962-

kurios->, [so] walk <4043-peripateo-> ye in him:

7 Rooted <4492-rhizoo-> and built <2026-epoikodomeo-> up in him,

and stablished <0950-bebaioo-> in the faith <4102-pistis->, as

ye have been taught <1321-didasko->, abounding <4052-perisseuo->

therein <0846-autos-> with thanksgiving <2169-eucharistia->.

8 Beware <0991-blepo-> lest <3361-me-> any <3387-metis-> man

spoil <4812-sulagogeo-> you through <1223-dia-> philosophy <5385-

philosophia-> and vain <2756-kenos-> deceit <0539-apate->, after

<2596-kata-> the tradition <3862-paradosis-> of men <0444-

anthropos->, after <2596-kata-> the rudiments <4747-stoicheion->

of the world <2889-kosmos->, and not after <2596-kata-> Christ

<5547-Christos->.

9 For in him dwelleth <2730-katoikeo-> all <3956-pas-> the

fulness <4138-pleroma-> of the Godhead <2320-theotes-> bodily

<4985-somatikos->.

10 And ye are complete <4137-pleroo-> in him, which <3739-hos->

is the head <2776-kephale-> of all <3956-pas-> principality

11 In whom <3739-hos-> also <2532-kai-> ye are circumcised

14 Blotting <1813-exaleipho-> out the handwriting <5498-

cheirographon-> of ordinances <1378-dogma-> that was against

judge <2919-krino-> you in meat <1035-brosis->, or <2228-e-> in

drink <4213-posis->, or <2228-e-> in respect <3313-meros-> of an

holyday <1859-heorte->, or <2228-e-> of the new <3561-noumenia->

moon <3561-noumenia->, or <2228-e-> of the sabbath <4521-

sabbaton-> [days]:

17 Which <3739-hos-> are a shadow <4639-skia-> of things to

come <3195-mello->; but the body <4983-soma-> [is] of Christ

<5547-Christos->.

18 Let no <3367-medeis-> man <3367-medeis-> beguile <2603-

katabrabeuo-> you of your reward <2603-katabrabeuo-> in a

voluntary <2309-thelo-> humility <5012-tapeinophrosune-> and

worshipping <2356-threskeia-> of angels <0032-aggelos->,

intruding <1687-embateuo-> into those things which <3739-hos->

he hath not seen <3708-horao->, vainly <1500-eike-> puffed <5448-

as though living <2198-zao-> in the world <2889-kosmos->, are ye

Colossians 3

1. If <1487-ei-> ye then <3767-oun-> be risen <4891-sunegeiro->

with Christ <5547-Christos->, seek <2212-zeteo-> those <3588-ho-

> things which are above <0507-ano->, where <3757-hou-> Christ

<5547-Christos-> sitteth <2521-kathemai-> on <1722-en-> the

right <1188-dexios-> hand of God <2316-theos->.

2 Set <5426-phroneo-> your affection <5426-phroneo-> on things

above <0507-ano->, not on things on <1909-epi-> the earth <1093-

ge->.

apotithemi-> off <0659-apotithemi-> all <3956-pas-> these <3588-

15 And let the peace <1515-eirene-> of God <2316-theos-> rule

logos-> or <2228-e-> deed <2041-ergon->, [do <4160-poieo->] all

<3956-pas-> in the name <3686-onoma-> of the Lord <2962-kurios->

18. Wives <1135-gune->, submit <5293-hupotasso-> yourselves

unto your <2398-idios-> own <2398-idios-> husbands <0435-aner->,

as it is fit <0433-aneko-> in the Lord <2962-kurios->.

19 Husbands <0435-aner->, love <0025-agapao-> [your <3588-ho->]

wives <1135-gune->, and be not bitter <4087-pikraino-> against

20 Children <5043-teknon->, obey <5219-hupakouo-> [your <3588-

ho->] parents <1118-goneus-> in all <3956-pas-> things: for this

Colossians 4
