yea, the world <8398 tebel >, and all <3605 kol > that dwell

:6 Who <4310 miy > can stand <5975 <amad > before <6440 paniym >

his indignation <2195 za<am >? and who <4310 miy > can abide

<6965 quwm > in the fierceness <2740 charown > of his anger

they shall stumble <3782 kashal > in their walk <1979 haliykah >;

they shall make haste <4116 mahar > to the wall <2346 chowmah >

thereof, and the defence <5526 cakak > shall be prepared <3559

kuwn >.

:6 The gates <8179 sha<ar > of the rivers <5104 nahar > shall be

opened <6605 pathach >, and the palace <1964 heykal > shall be

dissolved <4127 muwg >.

:7 And Huzzab <5324 natsab > shall be led away <1540 galah >

captive <1540 galah >, she shall be brought <5927 <alah > up,

and her maids <0519 >amah > shall lead <5090 nahag > [her] as

with the voice <6963 qowl > of doves <3123 yownah >, tabering

<8608 taphaph > upon their breasts <3824 lebab >.

:8 But Nineveh <5210 Niyn@veh > [is] of old <3117 yowm > like a

pool <1295 b@rekah > of water <4325 mayim >:yet they shall flee

<5127 nuwc > away. Stand <5975 <amad >, stand <5975 <amad >,

[shall they cry]; but none <0369 >ayin > shall look <6437 panah

> back <6437 panah >.

:9 Take <0962 bazaz > ye the spoil <0962 bazaz > of silver <3701

keceph >, take <0962 bazaz > the spoil <7997 shalal > of gold

:10 She is empty <0950 buwqah >, and void <4003 m@buwqah >, and

waste <1110 balaq >:and the heart <3820 leb > melteth <4549

macac >, and the knees <1290 berek > smite <6375 piyq > together,

and I will burn <1197 ba<ar > her chariots <7393 rekeb > in the

smoke <6227 <ashan >, and the sword <2719 chereb > shall devour

and I will cut <3772 karath > off thy prey <2964 tereph > from
