Revelation   8

      1. And when <3753-hote-> he had opened <0455-anoigo-> the seventh

      <1442-hebdomos-> seal <4973-sphragis->, there was silence <4602-sige->

      in heaven <3772-ouranos-> about <5613-hos-> the space of half

      <2256-hemiorion-> an hour <2256-hemiorion->.

      2  And I saw <1492-eido-> the seven <2033-hepta-> angels

      <0032-aggelos-> which <3739-hos-> stood <2476-histemi-> before

      <1799-enopion-> God <2316-theos->; and to them were given

      <1325-didomi-> seven <2033-hepta-> trumpets <4536-salpigx->.

      3  And another <0243-allos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> came

      <2064-erchomai-> and stood <2476-histemi-> at <1909-epi-> the altar

      <2379-thusiasterion->, having <2192-echo-> a golden <5552-chruseos->

      censer <3031-libanotos->; and there was given <1325-didomi-> unto him

      much <4183-polus-> incense <2368-thumiama->, that he should offer

      <1325-didomi-> [it] with the prayers <4335-proseuche-> of all

      <3956-pas-> saints <0040-hagios-> upon the golden <5552-chruseos->

      altar <2379-thusiasterion-> which <3588-ho-> was before

      <1799-enopion-> the throne <2362-thronos->.

      4  And the smoke <2586-kapnos-> of the incense <2368-thumiama->,

      [which came] with the prayers <4335-proseuche-> of the saints

      <0040-hagios->, ascended <0305-anabaino-> up before <1799-enopion->

      God <2316-theos-> out of the angel's <0032-aggelos-> hand

      <5495-cheir->.

      5  And the angel <0032-aggelos-> took <2983-lambano-> the censer

      <3031-libanotos->, and filled <1072-gemizo-> it with fire <4442-pur->

      of the altar <2379-thusiasterion->, and cast <0906-ballo-> [it] into

      <1519-eis-> the earth <1093-ge->: and there were voices <5456-phone->,

      and thunderings <1027-bronte->, and lightnings <0796-astrape->, and an

      earthquake <4578-seismos->.

      6  And the seven <2033-hepta-> angels <0032-aggelos-> which <3588-ho->

      had <2192-echo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> trumpets <4536-salpigx->

      prepared <2090-hetoimazo-> themselves <1438-heautou-> to sound

      <4537-salpizo->.

      7. The first <4413-protos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded

      <4537-salpizo->, and there followed <1096-ginomai-> hail

      <5464-chalaza-> and fire <4442-pur-> mingled <3396-mignumi-> with

      blood <0129-haima->, and they were cast <0906-ballo-> upon the earth

      <1093-ge->: and the third <5154-tritos-> part of trees <1186-dendron->

      was burnt <2618-katakaio-> up, and all <3956-pas-> green

      <5515-chloros-> grass <5528-chortos-> was burnt <2618-katakaio-> up.

      8  And the second <1208-deuteros-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded

      <4537-salpizo->, and as it were a great <3173-megas-> mountain

      <3735-oros-> burning <2545-kaio-> with fire <4442-pur-> was cast

      <0906-ballo-> into <1519-eis-> the sea <2281-thalassa->: and the third

      <5154-tritos-> part of the sea <2281-thalassa-> became <1096-ginomai->

      blood <0129-haima->;

      9  And the third <5154-tritos-> part of the creatures <2938-ktisma->

      which <3588-ho-> were in the sea <2281-thalassa->, and had

      <2192-echo-> life <5590-psuche->, died <0599-apothnesko->; and the

      third <5154-tritos-> part of the ships <4143-ploion-> were destroyed

      <1311-diaphtheiro->.

      10  And the third <5154-tritos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded

      <4537-salpizo->, and there fell <4098-pipto-> a great <3173-megas->

      star <0792-aster-> from heaven <3772-ouranos->, burning <2545-kaio->

      as it were a lamp <2985-lampas->, and it fell <4098-pipto-> upon the

      third <5154-tritos-> part of the rivers <4215-potamos->, and upon the

      fountains <4077-pege-> of waters <5204-hudor->;

      11  And the name <3686-onoma-> of the star <0792-aster-> is called

      <3004-lego-> Wormwood <0894-apsinthos->: and the third <5154-tritos->

      part of the waters <5204-hudor-> became <1519-eis-> wormwood

      <0894-apsinthos->; and many <4183-polus-> men <0444-anthropos-> died

      <0599-apothnesko-> of the waters <5204-hudor->, because <3754-hoti->

      they were made <4087-pikraino-> bitter <4087-pikraino->.

      12  And the fourth <5067-tetartos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded

      <4537-salpizo->, and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the sun

      <2246-helios-> was smitten <4141-plesso->, and the third

      <5154-tritos-> part of the moon <4582-selene->, and the third

      <5154-tritos-> part of the stars <0792-aster->; so <2443-hina-> as the

      third <5154-tritos-> part of them was darkened <4654-skotizo->, and

      the day <2250-hemera-> shone <5316-phaino-> not for a third

      <5154-tritos-> part of it, and the night <3571-nux-> likewise

      <3668-homoios->.

      13  And I beheld <1492-eido->, and heard <0191-akouo-> an angel

      <0032-aggelos-> flying <4072-petomai-> through <1722-en-> the midst

      <3321-mesouranema-> of heaven <3321-mesouranema->, saying <3004-lego->

      with a loud <3173-megas-> voice <5456-phone->, Woe <3759-ouai->, woe

      <3759-ouai->, woe <3759-ouai->, to the inhabiters <2730-katoikeo-> of

      the earth <1093-ge-> by reason <1537-ek-> of the other <3062-loipoy->

      voices <5456-phone-> of the trumpet <4536-salpigx-> of the three

      <5140-treis-> angels <0032-aggelos->, which <3588-ho-> are yet

      <3195-mello-> to sound <4537-salpizo->!
