Revelation 12
1. And there appeared <3700-optanomai-> a great <3173-megas-> wonder
<4592-semeion-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->; a woman <1135-gune->
clothed <4016-periballo-> with the sun <2246-helios->, and the moon
<4582-selene-> under <5270-hupokato-> her feet <4228-pous->, and upon
her head <2776-kephale-> a crown <4735-stephanos-> of twelve
<1427-dodeka-> stars <0792-aster->:
2 And she being <2192-echo-> with child <1064-gaster-> cried
<2896-krazo->, travailing <5605-odino-> in birth <5605-odino->, and
pained <0928-basanizo-> to be delivered <5088-tikto->.
3 And there appeared <3700-optanomai-> another <0243-allos-> wonder
<4592-semeion-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->; and behold <2400-idou-> a
great <3173-megas-> red <4450-purrhos-> dragon <1404-drakon->, having
<2192-echo-> seven <2033-hepta-> heads <2776-kephale-> and ten
<1176-deka-> horns <2768-keras->, and seven <2033-hepta-> crowns
<1238-diadema-> upon his heads <2776-kephale->.
4 And his tail <3769-oura-> drew <4951-suro-> the third
<5154-tritos-> part of the stars <0792-aster-> of heaven
<3772-ouranos->, and did cast <0906-ballo-> them to the earth
<1093-ge->: and the dragon <1404-drakon-> stood <2476-histemi-> before
<1799-enopion-> the woman <1135-gune-> which <3588-ho-> was ready
<3195-mello-> to be delivered <5088-tikto->, for to devour
<2719-katesthio-> her child <5043-teknon-> as soon <3752-hotan-> as it
was born <5088-tikto->.
5 And she brought <5088-tikto-> forth <5088-tikto-> a man
<0730-arrhen-> child <5207-huios->, who <3739-hos-> was to rule
<4165-poimaino-> all <3956-pas-> nations <1484-ethnos-> with a rod
<4464-rhabdos-> of iron <4603-sidereos->: and her child <5043-teknon->
was caught <0726-harpazo-> up unto God <2316-theos->, and [to] his
throne <2362-thronos->.
6 And the woman <1135-gune-> fled <5343-pheugo-> into <1519-eis-> the
wilderness <2048-eremos->, where <3699-hopou-> she hath <2192-echo-> a
place <5117-topos-> prepared <2090-hetoimazo-> of God <2316-theos->,
that they should feed <5142-trepho-> her there <1563-ekei-> a thousand
<5507-chilioi-> two <1417-duo-> hundred <1250-diakosioi-> [and]
threescore <1835-hexekonta-> days <2250-hemera->.
7 And there was war <4171-polemos-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->:
Michael <3413-Michael-> and his angels <0032-aggelos-> fought
<4170-polemeo-> against <2596-kata-> the dragon <1404-drakon->; and
the dragon <1404-drakon-> fought <4170-polemeo-> and his angels
<0032-aggelos->,
8 And prevailed <2480-ischuo-> not; neither <3777-oute-> was their
place <5117-topos-> found <2147-heurisko-> any <2089-eti-> more
<2089-eti-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->.
9 And the great <3173-megas-> dragon <1404-drakon-> was cast
<0906-ballo-> out, that old <0744-archaios-> serpent <3789-ophis->,
called <2564-kaleo-> the Devil <1228-diabolos->, and Satan
<4567-Satanas->, which <3588-ho-> deceiveth <4105-planao-> the whole
<3650-holos-> world <3625-oikoumene->: he was cast <0906-ballo-> out
into <1519-eis-> the earth <1093-ge->, and his angels <0032-aggelos->
were cast <0906-ballo-> out with him.
10 And I heard <0191-akouo-> a loud <3173-megas-> voice <5456-phone->
saying <3004-lego-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->, Now <0737-arti-> is
come <1096-ginomai-> salvation <4991-soteria->, and strength
<1411-dunamis->, and the kingdom <0932-basileia-> of our God
<2316-theos->, and the power <1849-exousia-> of his Christ
<5547-Christos->: for the accuser <2723-kategoreo-> of our brethren
<0080-adephos-> is cast <2598-kataballo-> down <2598-kataballo->,
which <3588-ho-> accused <2725-kategoros-> them before <1799-enopion->
our God <2316-theos-> day <2250-hemera-> and night <3571-nux->.
11 And they overcame <3528-nikao-> him by the blood <0129-haima-> of
the Lamb <0721-arnion->, and by the word <3056-logos-> of their
testimony <3141-marturia->; and they loved <0025-agapao-> not their
lives <5590-psuche-> unto the death <2288-thanatos->.
12. Therefore <5124-touto-> rejoice <2165-euphraino->, [ye] heavens
<3772-ouranos->, and ye that dwell <4637-skenoo-> in them. Woe
<3759-ouai-> to the inhabiters <2730-katoikeo-> of the earth
<1093-ge-> and of the sea <2281-thalassa->! for the devil
<1228-diabolos-> is come <2597-katabaino-> down <2597-katabaino-> unto
you, having <2192-echo-> great <3173-megas-> wrath <2372-thumos->,
because he knoweth <1492-eido-> that he hath <2192-echo-> but a short
<3641-oligos-> time <2540-kairos->.
13 And when <3753-hote-> the dragon <1404-drakon-> saw <1492-eido->
that he was cast <0906-ballo-> unto the earth <1093-ge->, he
persecuted <1377-dioko-> the woman <1135-gune-> which <3748-hostis->
brought <5088-tikto-> forth <5088-tikto-> the man <0730-arrhen->
[child].
14 And to the woman <1135-gune-> were given <1325-didomi-> two
<1417-duo-> wings <4420-pterux-> of a great <3173-megas-> eagle
<0105-aetos->, that she might fly <4072-petomai-> into <1519-eis-> the
wilderness <2048-eremos->, into <1519-eis-> her place <5117-topos->,
where <3699-hopou-> she is nourished <5142-trepho-> for a time
<2540-kairos->, and times <2540-kairos->, and half <2255-hemisu-> a
time <2540-kairos->, from the face <4383-prosopon-> of the serpent

15 And the serpent <3789-ophis-> cast <0906-ballo-> out of his mouth
<4750-stoma-> water <5204-hudor-> as a flood <4215-potamos-> after
<3694-opiso-> the woman <1135-gune->, that he might cause
<4160-poieo-> her to be carried <4216-potamophoretos-> away of the
flood <4216-potamophoretos->.
16 And the earth <1093-ge-> helped <0997-boetheo-> the woman
<1135-gune->, and the earth <1093-ge-> opened <0455-anoigo-> her mouth
<4750-stoma->, and swallowed <2666-katapino-> up the flood

17 And the dragon <1404-drakon-> was wroth <3710-orgizo-> with the
woman <1135-gune->, and went <0565-aperchomai-> to make <4160-poieo->
war <4171-polemos-> with the remnant <3062-loipoy-> of her seed
<4690-sperma->, which <3588-ho-> keep <5083-tereo-> the commandments
<1785-entole-> of God <2316-theos->, and have <2192-echo-> the
testimony <3141-marturia-> of Jesus <2424-Iesous-> Christ
<5547-Christos->.
