attained not to the [first] three: and David set him over his guard.
but 1CH 12 17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said
unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart
shall be knit unto you: {but} if [ye be come] to betray me to mine
enemies, seeing [there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our
fathers look [thereon], and rebuke [it].
but 1CH 12 19 And there fell [some] of Manasseh to David, when he
came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: {but} they helped
them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him
away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to [the jeopardy of]
our heads.
but 1CH 13 13 So David brought not the ark [home] to himself to the
city of David, {but} carried it aside into the house of Obededom the
Gittite.
but 1CH 15 02 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God

but 1CH 16 26 For all the gods of the people [are] idols: {but} the
LORD made the heavens.
but 1CH 17 01 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that
David said to Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars,
{but} the ark of the covenant of the LORD [remaineth] under
curtains.

but 1CH 21 03 And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred
times so many more as they [be]: {but}, my lord the king, [are] they
not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this
thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned
and done evil indeed; {but} [as for] these sheep, what have they
done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on
my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be
plagued.
but 1CH 21 17 And David said unto God, [Is it] not I [that]
commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned
and done evil indeed; but [as for] these sheep, what have they done?
let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my
father's house; {but} not on thy people, that they should be
plagued.
but 1CH 21 24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; {but} I will verily
buy it for the full price: for I will not take [that] which [is]
thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
But 1CH 21 30 {But} David could not go before it to inquire of God:
for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the LORD.
But 1CH 22 08 {But} the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou
hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not
build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon
the earth in my sight.
but 1CH 23 11 And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: {but}
