Rabshakeh 2KI 18 26 Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and
Shebna, and Joah, unto {Rabshakeh}, Speak, I pray thee, to thy
servants in the Syrian language; for we understand [it]: and talk
not with us in the Jews' language in the ears of the people that
[are] on the wall.
Rabshakeh 2KI 18 27 But {Rabshakeh} said unto them, Hath my master
sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? [hath he]
not [sent me] to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat
their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?
Rabshakeh 2KI 18 28 Then {Rabshakeh} stood and cried with a loud
voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the
great king, the king of Assyria:

[was] over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of
Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with [their] clothes rent, and told
him the words of {Rabshakeh}.
Rabshakeh 2KI 19 04 It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the
words of {Rabshakeh}, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent
to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the
LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up [thy] prayer for the
remnant that are left.
Rabshakeh 2KI 19 08 So {Rabshakeh} returned, and found the king of
Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was
departed from Lachish.

king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I {recover} of

mayest certainly {recover}: howbeit the LORD hath showed me that he
shall surely die.

He told me [that] thou shouldest surely {recover}.

of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had
taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did
Joash beat him, and {recovered} the cities of Israel.

land to a tribute of an hundred talents of silver, and a talent of

princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the

Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against
Jerusalem, and pitched against it: and they built forts against it
round about.

of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month,
on the seven and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evilmerodach
