For I am not ashamed <1870-epaischunomai-> of the gospel <2098-euaggelion-> of Christ <5547-Christos->: for it is the power <1411-dunamis-> of God <2316-theos-> unto salvation <4991-soteria-> to every <3956-pas-> one that believeth <4100-pisteuo->; to the Jew <2453-Ioudaios-> first <4412-proton->, and also <2532-kai-> to the Greek <1672-Hellen->.
:17 For therein <0846-autos-> is the righteousness <1343-dikaiosune-> of God <2316-theos-> revealed <0601-apokalupto-> from faith <4102-pistis-> to faith <4102-pistis->: as it is written <1125-grapho->, The just <1342-dikaios-> shall live <2198-zao-> by faith <4102-pistis->.
:18 For the wrath <3709-orge-> of God <2316-theos-> is revealed <0601-apokalupto-> from heaven <3772-ouranos-> against <1909-epi-> all <3956-pas-> ungodliness <0763-asebeia-> and unrighteousness <0093-adikia-> of men <0444-anthropos->, who <3588-ho-> hold <2722-katecho-> the truth <0225-aletheia-> in unrighteousness <0093-adikia->;

:21 Because <1360-dioti-> that, when they knew <1097-ginosko-> God <2316-theos->, they glorified <1392-doxazo-> [him] not as God <2316-theos->, neither <2228-e-> were thankful <2168-eucharisteo->; but became <3154-mataioo-> vain <3154-mataioo-> in their imaginations <1261-dialogismos->, and their foolish <0801-asunetos-> heart <2588-kardia-> was darkened <4654-skotizo->.
:22 Professing <5335-phasko-> themselves to be wise <4680-sophos--oneidismos->, they became <3471-moraino-> fools <3471-moraino->,
:23 And changed <0236-allasso-> the glory <1391-doxa-> of the uncorruptible <0862-aphthartos-> God <2316-theos-> into <1722-en-> an image <1504-eikon-> made like <3667-homoioma-> to corruptible <5349-phthartos-> man <0444-anthropos->, and to birds <4071-peteinon->, and fourfooted <5074-tetrapous-> beasts <5074-tetrapous->, and creeping <2062-herpeton-> things.
:24 Wherefore <1352-dio-> God <2316-theos-> also <2532-kai-> gave <3860-paradidomi-> them up to uncleanness <0167-akatharsia-> through <1722-en-> the lusts <1939-epithumia-> of their own hearts <2588-kardia->, to dishonour <0818-atimazo-> their own bodies <4983-soma-> between <1722-en-> themselves <1438-heautou->:

:Romans 2
:1. Therefore <1352-dio-> thou art <1488-ei-> inexcusable <0379-anapologetos->, O man <0444-anthropos->, whosoever <3588-ho-> thou art <1488-ei-> that judgest <2919-krino->: for wherein <3757-hou-> thou judgest <2919-krino-> another <2087-heteros->, thou condemnest <2632-katakrino-> thyself <4572-seautou->; for thou that judgest <2919-krino-> doest <4238-prasso-> the same <0846-autos-> things.
:2 But we are sure <1492-eido-> that the judgment <2917-krima-> of God <2316-theos-> is according <2596-kata-> to truth <0225-aletheia-> against <1909-epi-> them which commit <4238-prasso-> such <5108-toioutos-> things.
:3 And thinkest <3049-logizomai-> thou this <5124-touto->, O man <0444-anthropos->, that judgest <2919-krino-> them which do <4238-prasso-> such <5108-toioutos-> things, and doest <4160-poieo-> the same <0846-autos->, that thou shalt escape <1628-ekpheugo-> the judgment <2917-krima-> of God <2316-theos->?
:4 Or <2228-e-> despisest <2706-kataphroneo-> thou the riches <4149-ploutos-> of his goodness <5544-chrestotes-> and forbearance <0463-anoche-> and longsuffering <3115-makrothumia->; not knowing <0050-agnoeo-> that the goodness <5543-chrestos-> of God <2316-theos-> leadeth <0071-ago-> thee to repentance <3341-metanoia->?
:5 But after <2596-kata-> thy hardness <4643-sklerotes-> and impenitent <0279-ametanoetos-> heart <2588-kardia-> treasurest <2343-thesaurizo-> up unto thyself <4572-seautou-> wrath <3709-orge-> against <1722-en-> the day <2250-hemera-> of wrath <3709-orge-> and revelation <0602-apokalupsis-> of the righteous <1341-dikaiokrisia-> judgment <1341-dikaiokrisia-> of God <2316-theos->;
:6 Who <3739-hos-> will render <0591-apodidomi-> to every <1538-hekastos-> man according <2596-kata-> to his deeds <2041-ergon->:
:7 To them who by patient <5281-hupomone-> continuance <5281-hupomone-> in well <0018-agathos-> doing <2041-ergon-> seek <2212-zeteo-> for glory <1391-doxa-> and honour <5092-time-> and immortality <0861-aphthrsia->, eternal <0166-aionios-> life <2222-zoe->:
:8 But unto them that are contentious <2052-eritheia->, and do not obey <0544-apeitheo-> the truth <0225-aletheia->, but obey <3982-peitho-> unrighteousness <0093-adikia->, indignation <2372-thumos-> and wrath <3709-orge->,
:9 Tribulation <2347-thlipsis-> and anguish <4730-stenochoria->, upon every <3956-pas-> soul <5590-psuche-> of man <0444-anthropos-> that doeth evil <2556-kakos->, of the Jew <2453-Ioudaios-> first <4412-proton->, and also <2532-kai-> of the Gentile <1672-Hellen->;
:10 But glory <1391-doxa->, honour <5092-time->, and peace <1515-eirene->, to every <3956-pas-> man <3956-pas-> that worketh <2038-ergazomai-> good <0018-agathos->, to the Jew <2453-Ioudaios-> first <4412-proton->, and also <2532-kai-> to the Gentile <1672-Hellen->:
:11 For there is no <3756-ou-> respect <4382-prosopolepsia-> of persons <4382-prosopolepsia-> with God <2316-theos->.
:12 For as many <3745-hosos-> as have sinned <0264-hamartano-> without <0460-anomos-> law <0460-anomos-> shall also <2532-kai-> perish <0622-apollumi-> without <0460-anomos-> law <0460-anomos->: and as many <3745-hosos-> as have sinned <0264-hamartano-> in the law <3551-nomos-> shall be judged <2919-krino-> by the law <3551-nomos->;
:13 (For not the hearers <0202-akroates-> of the law <3551-nomos-> [are] just <1342-dikaios-> before <3844-para-> God <2316-theos->, but the doers <4163-poietes-> of the law <3551-nomos-> shall be justified <1344-dikaioo->.
:14 For when <3752-hotan-> the Gentiles <1484-ethnos->, which <3588-ho-> have <2192-echo-> not the law <3551-nomos->, do <4160-poieo-> by nature <5449-phusis-> the things contained in the law <3551-nomos->, these <3778-houtos->, having <2192-echo-> not the law <3551-nomos->, are a law <3551-nomos-> unto themselves <1438-heautou->:
:15 Which <3748-hostis-> shew <1731-endeiknumi-> the work <2041-ergon-> of the law <3551-nomos-> written <1123-graptos-> in their hearts <2588-kardia->, their conscience <4893-suneidesis-> also <4828-summartureo-> bearing <4828-summartureo-> witness <4828-summartureo->, and [their] thoughts <3053-logismos-> the mean <3342-metaxu-> while accusing <2723-kategoreo-> or <2228-e-> else <2532-kai-> excusing <0626-apologeomai-> one <0240-allelon-> another <0240-allelon->;)
:16 In the day <2250-hemera-> when <3753-hote-> God <2316-theos-> shall judge <2919-krino-> the secrets <2927-kruptos-> of men <0444-anthropos-> by Jesus <2424-Iesous-> Christ <5547-Christos-> according <2596-kata-> to my gospel <2098-euaggelion->.
:17. Behold <2396-ide->, thou art called <2028-eponomazo-> a Jew <2453-Ioudaios->, and restest <1879-epanapauomai-> in the law <3551-nomos->, and makest <2744-kauchaomai-> thy boast <2744-kauchaomai-> of God <2316-theos->,
:18 And knowest <1097-ginosko-> [his] will <2307-thelema->, and approvest <1381-dokimazo-> the things that are more excellent <1308-diaphero->, being instructed <2727-katecheo-> out of the law <3551-nomos->;
:19 And art confident <3982-peitho-> that thou thyself <4572-seautou-> art a guide <3595-hodegos-> of the blind <5185-tuphlos->, a light <5457-phos-> of them which are in darkness <4655-skotos->,
:20 An instructor <3810-paideutes-> of the foolish <0878-aphron->, a teacher <1320-didaskalos-> of babes <3516-nepios->, which hast <2192-echo-> the form <3446-morphosis-> of knowledge <1108-gnosis-> and of the truth <0225-aletheia-> in the law <3551-nomos->.
:21 Thou therefore <3767-oun-> which <3588-ho-> teachest <1321-didasko-> another <2087-heteros->, teachest <1321-didasko-> thou not thyself <4572-seautou->? thou that preachest <2784-kerusso-> a man should not steal <2813-klepto->, dost thou steal <2813-klepto->?
:22 Thou that sayest <3004-lego-> a man should not commit <3431-moicheuo-> adultery <3431-moicheuo->, dost thou commit <3431-moicheuo-> adultery <3431-moicheuo->? thou that abhorrest <0948-bdelusso-> idols <1497-eidolon->, dost thou commit <2416-hierosuleo-> sacrilege <2416-hierosuleo->?
:23 Thou that makest <2744-kauchaomai-> thy boast <2744-kauchaomai-> of the law <3551-nomos->, through <1223-dia-> breaking <3847-parabasis-> the law <3551-nomos-> dishonourest <0818-atimazo-> thou God <2316-theos->?
:24 For the name <3686-onoma-> of God <2316-theos-> is blasphemed <0987-blasphemeo-> among <1722-en-> the Gentiles <1484-ethnos-> through <1223-dia-> you, as it is written <1125-grapho->.
:25 For circumcision <4061-peritome-> verily <3303-men-> profiteth <5623-opheleo->, if <1437-ean-> thou keep <4238-prasso-> the law <3551-nomos->: but if <1437-ean-> thou be a breaker <3848-parabates-> of the law <3551-nomos->, thy circumcision <4061-peritome-> is made <1096-ginomai-> uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia->.
:26 Therefore <3767-oun-> if <1437-ean-> the uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia-> keep <5442-phulasso-> the righteousness <1345-dikaioma-> of the law <3551-nomos->, shall not his uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia-> be counted <3049-logizomai-> for circumcision <4061-peritome->?
:27 And shall not uncircumcision <0203-akrobustia-> which is by nature <5449-phusis->, if it fulfil <5055-teleo-> the law <3551-nomos->, judge <2919-krino-> thee, who <3588-ho-> by the letter <1121-gramma-> and circumcision <4061-peritome-> dost transgress <3848-parabates-> the law <3551-nomos->?
:28 For he is not a Jew <2453-Ioudaios->, which is one outwardly <5318-phaneros->; neither <3761-oude-> [is that] circumcision <4061-peritome->, which is outward <5318-phaneros-> in the flesh <4561-sarx->:
:29 But he [is] a Jew <2453-Ioudaios->, which is one inwardly <2927-kruptos->; and circumcision <4061-peritome-> [is that] of the heart <2588-kardia->, in the spirit <4151-pneuma->, [and] not in the letter <1121-gramma->; whose <3739-hos-> praise <1868-epainos-> [is] not of men <0444-anthropos->, but of God <2316-theos->.
:Romans 3
:1. What <5101-tis-> advantage <4053-perissos-> then <3767-oun-> hath the Jew <2453-Ioudaios->? or <2228-e-> what <5101-tis-> profit <5622-opheleia-> [is there] of circumcision <4061-peritome->?
:2 Much <4183-polus-> every <3956-pas-> way <5158-tropos->: chiefly <4412-proton->, because <3754-hoti-> that unto them were committed <4100-pisteuo-> the oracles <3051-logion-> of God <2316-theos->.
:3 For what <5101-tis-> if <1487-ei-> some <5100-tis-> did not believe <0569-apisteo->? shall their unbelief <0570-apaistia-> make <2673-katargeo-> the faith <4102-pistis-> of God <2316-theos-> without <2673-katargeo-> effect <2673-katargeo->?
:4 God <1096-ginomai-> forbid <1096-ginomai->: yea <1161-de->, let God <2316-theos-> be true <0227-alethes->, but every <3956-pas-> man <0444-anthropos-> a liar <5583-pseustes->; as it is written <1125-grapho->, That thou mightest be justified <1344-dikaioo-> in thy sayings <3056-logos->, and mightest overcome <3528-nikao-> when <3588-ho-> thou art judged <2919-krino->.
:5 But if <1487-ei-> our unrighteousness <0093-adikia-> commend <4921-sunistao-> the righteousness <1343-dikaiosune-> of God <2316-theos->, what <5101-tis-> shall we say <2046-ereo->? [Is] God <2316-theos-> unrighteous <0094-adikos-> who <3588-ho-> taketh <2018-epiphero-> vengeance <3709-orge->? (I speak <3004-lego-> as a man <0444-anthropos->)
:6 God <1096-ginomai-> forbid <1096-ginomai->: for then how <4459-pos-> shall God <2316-theos-> judge <2919-krino-> the world <2889-kosmos->?
:7 For if <1487-ei-> the truth <0225-aletheia-> of God <2316-theos-> hath more abounded <4052-perisseuo-> through <1722-en-> my lie <5582-pseusma-> unto his glory <1391-doxa->; why <5101-tis-> yet <2089-eti-> am I also <2504-kago-> judged <2919-krino-> as a sinner <0268-hamartolos->?
:8 And not [rather], (as we be slanderously <0987-blasphemeo-> reported <0987-blasphemeo->, and as some <5100-tis-> affirm <5346-phemi-> that we say <3004-lego->,) Let us do <4160-poieo-> evil <2556-kakos->, that good <0018-agathos-> may come <2064-erchomai->? whose <3739-hos-> damnation <2917-krima-> is just <1738-endikos->.
:9 What <5101-tis-> then <3767-oun->? are we better <4284-proechomai-> [than they]? No <3756-ou->, in no <3843-pantos-> wise <3843-pantos->: for we have before <4256-proaitiaomai-> proved <4256-proaitiaomai-> both <5037-te-> Jews <2453-Ioudaios-> and Gentiles <1672-Hellen->, that they are all <3956-pas-> under <5259-hupo-> sin <0266-hamartia->;
:10 As it is written <1125-grapho->, There is none <3756-ou-> righteous <1342-dikaios->, no, not one <1520-heis->:
:11 There is none <3756-ou-> that understandeth <4920-suniemi->, there is none <3756-ou-> that seeketh <1567-ekzeteo-> after <1567-ekzeteo-> God <2316-theos->.
:12 They are all <3956-pas-> gone <1578-ekklino-> out of the way, they are together <0260-hama-> become <0889-achreioo-> unprofitable <0889-achreioo->; there is none <3756-ou-> that doeth <4160-poieo-> good <5544-chrestotes->, no, not one <1520-heis->.
:13 Their throat <2995-larugx-> [is] an open <0455-anoigo-> sepulchre <5028-taphos->; with their tongues <1100-glossa-> they have used <1387-dolioo-> deceit <1387-dolioo->; the poison <2447-ios-> of asps <0785-aspis-> [is] under <5259-hupo-> their lips <5491-cheilos->:
:14 Whose <3739-hos-> mouth <4750-stoma-> [is] full <1073-gemo-> of cursing <0685-ara-> and bitterness <4088-pikria->:
:15 Their feet <4228-pous-> [are] swift <3691-oxus-> to shed <1632-ekcheo-> blood <0129-haima->:
:16 Destruction <4938-suntrimma-> and misery <5004-talaiporia-> [are] in their ways <3598-hodos->:

:19. :Romans 4
:1. What <5101-tis-> shall we say <2046-ereo-> then <3767-oun-> that Abraham <0011-Abraam->our father <3962-pater->, as pertaining to the flesh <4561-sarx->, hath found <2147-heurisko->?
:2 For if <1487-ei-> Abraham <0011-Abraam->were justified <1344-dikaioo-> by works <2041-ergon->, he hath <2192-echo-> [whereof] to glory <2745-kauchema->; but not before <4314-pros-> God <2316-theos->.

:Romans 5
