:12 And I turned <1994-epistrepho-> to see <0991-blepo-> the voice <5456-phone-> that spake <2980-laleo-> with me. And being turned <1994-epistrepho->, I saw <1492-eido-> seven <2033-hepta-> golden <5552-chruseos-> candlesticks <3087-luchnia->;

:13 And in the midst <3319-mesos-> of the seven <2033-hepta-> candlesticks <3087-luchnia-> [one] like <3664-homoios-> unto the Son <5207-huios-> of man <0444-anthropos->, clothed <1746-enduo-> with a garment <4158-poderes-> down to the foot <4158-poderes->, and girt <4024-perizonnumi-> about <4024-perizonnumi-> the paps <3149-mastos-> with a golden <5552-chruseos-> girdle <2223-zone->.

:14 His head <2776-kephale-> and [his] hairs <2359-thrix-> [were] white <3022-leukos-> like <5616-hosei-> wool <2053-erion->, as white <3022-leukos-> as snow <5510-chion->; and his eyes <3788-ophthalmos-> [were] as a flame <5395-phlox-> of fire <4442-pur->;

:15 And his feet <4228-pous-> like <3664-homoios-> unto fine brass <5474-chalkolibanon->, as if they burned <4448-puroo-> in a furnace <2575-kaminos->; and his voice <5456-phone-> as the sound <5456-phone-> of many <4183-polus-> waters <5204-hudor->.

:19 Write <1125-grapho-> the things which <3739-hos-> thou hast seen <1492-eido->, and the things which <3739-hos-> are, and the things which <3739-hos-> shall be hereafter <5023-tauta->;

:20 The mystery <3466-musterion-> of the seven <2033-hepta-> stars <0792-aster-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido-> in my right <1188-dexios-> hand, and the seven <2033-hepta-> golden <5552-chruseos-> candlesticks <3087-luchnia->. The seven <2033-hepta-> stars <0792-aster-> are the angels <0032-aggelos-> of the seven <2033-hepta-> churches <1577-ekklesia->: and the seven <2033-hepta-> candlesticks <3087-luchnia-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido-> are the seven <2033-hepta-> churches <1577-ekklesia->.

:Revelation 2

:1. Unto the angel <0032-aggelos-> of the church <1577-ekklesia-> of Ephesus <2181-Ephesos-> write <1125-grapho->; These <3592-hode-> things saith <3004-lego-> he that holdeth <2902-krateo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> stars <0792-aster-> in his right <1188-dexios-> hand, who <3588-ho-> walketh <4043-peripateo-> in the midst <3319-mesos-> of the seven <2033-hepta-> golden <5552-chruseos-> candlesticks <3087-luchnia->;

:4 Nevertheless <0235-alla-> I have <2192-echo-> [somewhat] against <2596-kata-> thee, because <3754-hoti-> thou hast left <0863-aphiemi-> thy first <4413-protos-> love <0026-agape->.

:5 Remember <3421-mnemoneuo-> therefore <3767-oun-> from whence <4159-pothen-> thou art fallen <1601-ekpipto->, and repent <3340-metanoeo->, and do <4160-poieo-> the first <4413-protos-> works <2041-ergon->; or <1161-de-> else <1490-ei de me(ge)-> I will come <2064-erchomai-> unto thee quickly <5035-tachu->, and will remove <2795-kineo-> thy candlestick <3087-luchnia-> out of his place <5117-topos->, except <3362-ean me-> thou repent <3340-metanoeo->.

:6 But this <5124-touto-> thou hast <2192-echo->, that thou hatest <3404-miseo-> the deeds <2041-ergon-> of the Nicolaitans <3531-Nikolaites->, which <3739-hos-> I also <2504-kago-> hate <3404-miseo->.

:7 He that hath <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo-> what <5101-tis-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego-> unto the churches <1577-ekklesia->; To him that overcometh <3528-nikao-> will I give <1325-didomi-> to eat <5315-phago-> of the tree <3586-xulon-> of life <2222-zoe->, which <3739-hos-> is in the midst <3319-mesos-> of the paradise <3857-paradeisos-> of God <2316-theos->.

:8. And unto the angel <0032-aggelos-> of the church <1577-ekklesia-> in Smyrna <4668-Smurnaios-> write <1125-grapho->; These <3592-hode-> things saith <3004-lego-> the first <4413-protos-> and the last <2078-eschatos->, which <3739-hos-> was dead <3498-nekros->, and is alive <2198-zao->;

:9 I know <1492-eido-> thy works <2041-ergon->, and tribulation <2347-thlipsis->, and poverty <4432-ptocheia->, (but thou art <1488-ei-> rich <4145-plousios->) and [I know] the blasphemy <0988-blasphemia-> of them which <3588-ho-> say <3004-lego-> they are Jews <2453-Ioudaios->, and are not, but [are] the synagogue <4864-sunagoge-> of Satan <4567-Satanas->.

:10 Fear <5399-phobeo-> none <3367-medeis-> of those <3588-ho-> things which <3739-hos-> thou shalt suffer <3958-pascho->: behold <2400-idou->, the devil <1228-diabolos-> shall cast <0906-ballo-> [some] of you into <1519-eis-> prison <5438-phulake->, that ye may be tried <3985-peirazo->; and ye shall have <2192-echo-> tribulation <2347-thlipsis-> ten <1176-deka-> days <2250-hemera->: be thou faithful <4103-pistos-> unto death <2288-thanatos->, and I will give <1325-didomi-> thee a crown <4735-stephanos-> of life <2222-zoe->.

:11 He that hath <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo-> what <5101-tis-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego-> unto the churches <1577-ekklesia->; He that overcometh <3528-nikao-> shall not be hurt <0091-adikeo-> of the second <1208-deuteros-> death <2288-thanatos->.

:12. And to the angel <0032-aggelos-> of the church <1577-ekklesia-> in Pergamos <4010-Pergamos-> write <1125-grapho->; These <3592-hode-> things saith <3004-lego-> he which hath <2192-echo-> the sharp <3691-oxus-> sword <4501-rhomphaia-> with two <1366-distomos-> edges <1366-distomos->;

:13 I know <1492-eido-> thy works <2041-ergon->, and where <4226-pou-> thou dwellest <2730-katoikeo->, [even] where <3699-hopou-> Satan's <4567-Satanas-> seat <2362-thronos-> [is]: and thou holdest <2902-krateo-> fast my name <3686-onoma->, and hast not denied <0720-arneomai-> my faith <4102-pistis->, even <2532-kai-> in those <3588-ho-> days <2250-hemera-> wherein <3757-hou-> Antipas <0493-Antipas-> [was] my faithful <4103-pistos-> martyr <3144-martus->, who <3739-hos-> was slain <0615-apokteino-> among <3844-para-> you, where <3699-hopou-> Satan <4567-Satanas-> dwelleth <2730-katoikeo->.

:14 But I have <2192-echo-> a few <3641-oligos-> things against <2596-kata-> thee, because <3754-hoti-> thou hast <2192-echo-> there <1563-ekei-> them that hold <2902-krateo-> the doctrine <1322-didache-> of Balaam <0903-Balaam->, who <3739-hos-> taught <1321-didasko-> Balac <0904-Balak-> to cast <0906-ballo-> a stumblingblock <4625-skandalon-> before <1799-enopion-> the children <5207-huios-> of Israel <2474-Israel->, to eat <5315-phago-> things sacrificed <1494-eidolothuton-> unto idols <1494-eidolothuton->, and to commit <4203-porneuo-> fornication <4203-porneuo->.

:15 So <3779-houto-> hast <2192-echo-> thou also <2532-kai-> them that hold <2902-krateo-> the doctrine <1322-didache-> of the Nicolaitans <3531-Nikolaites->, which <3739-hos-> thing I hate <3404-miseo->.

:16 Repent <3340-metanoeo->; or <1161-de-> else <1490-ei de me(ge)-> I will come <2064-erchomai-> unto thee quickly <5035-tachu->, and will fight <4170-polemeo-> against <3326-meta-> them with the sword <4501-rhomphaia-> of my mouth <4750-stoma->.

:17 He that hath <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo-> what <5101-tis-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego-> unto the churches <1577-ekklesia->; To him that overcometh <3528-nikao-> will I give <1325-didomi-> to eat <5315-phago-> of the hidden <2928-krupto-> manna <3131-manna->, and will give <1325-didomi-> him a white <3022-leukos-> stone <5586-psephos->, and in the stone <5586-psephos-> a new <2537-kainos-> name <3686-onoma-> written <1125-grapho->, which <3739-hos-> no <3762-oudeis-> man <3762-oudeis-> knoweth <1097-ginosko-> saving <1508-ei me-> he that receiveth <2983-lambano-> [it].

:19 I know <1492-eido-> thy works <2041-ergon->, and charity <0026-agape->, and service <1248-diakonia->, and faith <4102-pistis->, and thy patience <5281-hupomone->, and thy works <2041-ergon->; and the last <2078-eschatos-> [to be] more <4119-pleion-> than the first <4413-protos->.

:20 Notwithstanding <0235-alla-> I have <2192-echo-> a few <3641-oligos-> things against <2596-kata-> thee, because <3754-hoti-> thou sufferest <1439-eao-> that woman <1135-gune-> Jezebel <2403-Iezabel->, which <3588-ho-> calleth <3004-lego-> herself <1438-heautou-> a prophetess <4398-prophetis->, to teach <1321-didasko-> and to seduce <4105-planao-> my servants <1401-doulos-> to commit <4203-porneuo-> fornication <4203-porneuo->, and to eat <5315-phago-> things sacrificed <1494-eidolothuton-> unto idols <1494-eidolothuton->.

:21 And I gave <1325-didomi-> her space <5550-chronos-> to repent <3340-metanoeo-> of her fornication <4202-porneia->; and she repented <3340-metanoeo-> not.

:22 Behold <2400-idou->, I will cast <0906-ballo-> her into <1519-eis-> a bed <2825-kline->, and them that commit <3431-moicheuo-> adultery <3431-moicheuo-> with her into <1519-eis-> great <3173-megas-> tribulation <2347-thlipsis->, except <3362-ean me-> they repent <3340-metanoeo-> of their deeds <2041-ergon->.

:23 And I will kill <0615-apokteino-> her children <5043-teknon-> with death <2288-thanatos->; and all <3956-pas-> the churches <1577-ekklesia-> shall know <1097-ginosko-> that I am <1510-eimi-> he which <3739-hos-> searcheth <2045-ereunao-> the reins <3510-nephros-> and hearts <2588-kardia->: and I will give <1325-didomi-> unto every <1538-hekastos-> one of you according <2596-kata-> to your <5216-humon-> works <2041-ergon->.

:24 But unto you I say <3004-lego->, and unto the rest <3062-loipoy-> in Thyatira <2363-Thuateira->, as many <3745-hosos-> as have <2192-echo-> not this <5026-taute-> doctrine <1322-didache->, and which <3748-hostis-> have not known <1097-ginosko-> the depths <0899-bathos-> of Satan <4567-Satanas->, as they speak <3004-lego->; I will put <0906-ballo-> upon you none <3367-medeis-> other <0243-allos-> burden <0922-baros->.

:25 But that which ye have <2192-echo-> [already] hold <2902-krateo-> fast till <0891-achri-> I come <2240-heko->.

:26 And he that overcometh <3528-nikao->, and keepeth <5083-tereo-> my works <2041-ergon-> unto the end <5056-telos->, to him will I give <1325-didomi-> power <1849-exousia-> over <1909-epi-> the nations <1484-ethnos->:

:27 And he shall rule <4165-poimaino-> them with a rod <4464-rhabdos-> of iron <4603-sidereos->; as the vessels <4632-skeuos-> of a potter <2764-keramikos-> shall they be broken <4937-suntribo-> to shivers <4937-suntribo->: even <2504-kago-> as I received <2983-lambano-> of my Father <3962-pater->.

:28 And I will give <1325-didomi-> him the morning <4407-proinos-> star <0792-aster->.

:29 He that hath <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo-> what <5101-tis-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego-> unto the churches <1577-ekklesia->.

:Revelation 3

:1. And unto the angel <0032-aggelos-> of the church <1577-ekklesia-> in Sardis <4554-Sardeis-> write <1125-grapho->; These <3592-hode-> things saith <3004-lego-> he that hath <2192-echo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> Spirits <4151-pneuma-> of God <2316-theos->, and the seven <2033-hepta-> stars <0792-aster->; I know <1492-eido-> thy works <2041-ergon->, that thou hast <2192-echo-> a name <3686-onoma-> that thou livest <2198-zao->, and art <1488-ei-> dead <3498-nekros->.

:2 Be watchful <1127-gregoreuo->, and strengthen <4741-sterizo-> the things which remain <3062-loipoy->, that are ready <3195-mello-> to die <0599-apothnesko->: for I have not found <2147-heurisko-> thy works <2041-ergon-> perfect <4137-pleroo-> before <1799-enopion-> God <2316-theos->.

:3 Remember <3421-mnemoneuo-> therefore <3767-oun-> how <4459-pos-> thou hast received <2983-lambano-> and heard <0191-akouo->, and hold <5083-tereo-> fast, and repent <3340-metanoeo->. If <1437-ean-> therefore <3767-oun-> thou shalt not watch <1127-gregoreuo->, I will come <2240-heko-> on <1909-epi-> thee as a thief <2812-kleptes->, and thou shalt not know <1097-ginosko-> what <4169-poios-> hour <5610-hora-> I will come <2240-heko-> upon thee.

:4 Thou hast <2192-echo-> a few <3641-oligos-> names <3686-onoma-> even <2532-kai-> in Sardis <4554-Sardeis-> which <3739-hos-> have not defiled <3435-moluno-> their garments <2440-himation->; and they shall walk <4043-peripateo-> with me in white <3022-leukos->: for they are worthy <0514-axios->.

:5 He that overcometh <3528-nikao->, the same <3778-houtos-> shall be clothed <4016-periballo-> in white <3022-leukos-> raiment <2440-himation->; and I will not blot <1813-exaleipho-> out his name <3686-onoma-> out of the book <0976-biblos-> of life <2222-zoe->, but I will confess <1843-exomologeo-> his name <3686-onoma-> before <1799-enopion-> my Father <3962-pater->, and before <1799-enopion-> his angels <0032-aggelos->.

:6 He that hath <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo-> what <5101-tis-> the Spirit <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego-> unto the churches <1577-ekklesia->.

:1. :8 Of the tribe <5443-phule-> of Zabulon <2194-Zaboulon-> [were] sealed <4972-sphragizo-> twelve <1427-dodeka-> thousand <5505-chilias->. Of the tribe <5443-phule-> of Joseph <2501-Ioseph-> [were] sealed <4972-sphragizo-> twelve <1427-dodeka-> thousand <5505-chilias->. :14 And I said <2046-ereo-> unto him, Sir <2962-kurios->, thou knowest <1492-eido->. And he said <2036-epo-> to me, These <3778-houtos-> are they which came <2064-erchomai-> out of great <3173-megas-> tribulation <2347-thlipsis->, and have washed <4150-pluno-> their robes <4749-stole->, and made <3021-leukaino-> them white <3021-leukaino-> in the blood <0129-haima-> of the Lamb <0721-arnion->.

:17 For the Lamb <0721-arnion-> which <3588-ho-> is in the midst <3319-mesos-> of the throne <2362-thronos-> shall feed <4165-poimaino-> them, and shall lead <3594-hodegeo-> them unto living <2198-zao-> fountains <4077-pege-> of waters <5204-hudor->: and God <2316-theos-> shall wipe <1813-exaleipho-> away <1813-exaleipho-> all <3956-pas-> tears <1144-dakru-> from their eyes <3788-ophthalmos->.

:Revelation 8

:4 And the smoke <2586-kapnos-> of the incense <2368-thumiama->, [which came] with the prayers <4335-proseuche-> of the saints <0040-hagios->, ascended <0305-anabaino-> up before <1799-enopion-> God <2316-theos-> out of the angel's <0032-aggelos-> hand <5495-cheir->.

:5 And the angel <0032-aggelos-> took <2983-lambano-> the censer <3031-libanotos->, and filled <1072-gemizo-> it with fire <4442-pur-> of the altar <2379-thusiasterion->, and cast <0906-ballo-> [it] into <1519-eis-> the earth <1093-ge->: and there were voices <5456-phone->, and thunderings <1027-bronte->, and lightnings <0796-astrape->, and an earthquake <4578-seismos->.

:6 And the seven <2033-hepta-> angels <0032-aggelos-> which <3588-ho-> had <2192-echo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> trumpets <4536-salpigx-> prepared <2090-hetoimazo-> themselves <1438-heautou-> to sound <4537-salpizo->.

:7. The first <4413-protos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded <4537-salpizo->, and there followed <1096-ginomai-> hail <5464-chalaza-> and fire <4442-pur-> mingled <3396-mignumi-> with blood <0129-haima->, and they were cast <0906-ballo-> upon the earth <1093-ge->: and the third <5154-tritos-> part of trees <1186-dendron-> was burnt <2618-katakaio-> up, and all <3956-pas-> green <5515-chloros-> grass <5528-chortos-> was burnt <2618-katakaio-> up.

:9 And the third <5154-tritos-> part of the creatures <2938-ktisma-> which <3588-ho-> were in the sea <2281-thalassa->, and had <2192-echo-> life <5590-psuche->, died <0599-apothnesko->; and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the ships <4143-ploion-> were destroyed <1311-diaphtheiro->.

:10 And the third <5154-tritos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded <4537-salpizo->, and there fell <4098-pipto-> a great <3173-megas-> star <0792-aster-> from heaven <3772-ouranos->, burning <2545-kaio-> as it were a lamp <2985-lampas->, and it fell <4098-pipto-> upon the third <5154-tritos-> part of the rivers <4215-potamos->, and upon the fountains <4077-pege-> of waters <5204-hudor->;

:11 And the name <3686-onoma-> of the star <0792-aster-> is called <3004-lego-> Wormwood <0894-apsinthos->: and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the waters <5204-hudor-> became <1519-eis-> wormwood <0894-apsinthos->; and many <4183-polus-> men <0444-anthropos-> died <0599-apothnesko-> of the waters <5204-hudor->, because <3754-hoti-> they were made <4087-pikraino-> bitter <4087-pikraino->.

:12 And the fourth <5067-tetartos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded <4537-salpizo->, and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the sun <2246-helios-> was smitten <4141-plesso->, and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the moon <4582-selene->, and the third <5154-tritos-> part of the stars <0792-aster->; so <2443-hina-> as the third <5154-tritos-> part of them was darkened <4654-skotizo->, and the day <2250-hemera-> shone <5316-phaino-> not for a third <5154-tritos-> part of it, and the night <3571-nux-> likewise <3668-homoios->.

:Revelation 9

:1. :6 And in those <1565-ekeinos-> days <2250-hemera-> shall men <0444-anthropos-> seek <2212-zeteo-> death <2288-thanatos->, and shall not find <2147-heurisko-> it; and shall desire <1937-epithumeo-> to die <0599-apothnesko->, and death <2288-thanatos-> shall flee <5343-pheugo-> from them.

:7 And the shapes <3667-homoioma-> of the locusts <0200-akris-> [were] like <3664-homoios-> unto horses <2462-hippos-> prepared <2090-hetoimazo-> unto battle <4171-polemos->; and on <1909-epi-> their heads <2776-kephale-> [were] as it were crowns <4735-stephanos-> like <3664-homoios-> gold <5557-chrusos->, and their faces <4383-prosopon-> [were] as the faces <4383-prosopon-> of men <0444-anthropos->.

:8 And they had <2192-echo-> hair <2359-thrix-> as the hair <2359-thrix-> of women <1135-gune->, and their teeth <3599-odous-> were as [the teeth] of lions <3023-leon->.

:9 And they had <2192-echo-> breastplates <2382-thorax->, as it were breastplates <2382-thorax-> of iron <4603-sidereos->; and the sound <5456-phone-> of their wings <4420-pterux-> [was] as the sound <5456-phone-> of chariots <0716-harma-> of many <4183-polus-> horses <2462-hippos-> running <5143-trecho-> to battle <4171-polemos->.

:10 And they had <2192-echo-> tails <3769-oura-> like <3664-homoios-> unto scorpions <4651-skorpios->, and there were stings <2759-kentron-> in their tails <3769-oura->: and their power <1849-exousia-> [was] to hurt <0091-adikeo-> men <0444-anthropos-> five <4002-pente-> months <3376-men->.

:11 And they had <2192-echo-> a king <0935-basileus-> over <1909-epi-> them, [which is] the angel <0032-aggelos-> of the bottomless <0012-abussos-> pit, whose <0846-autos-> name <3686-onoma-> in the Hebrew <1447-Hebraisti-> tongue <1447-Hebraisti-> [is] Abaddon <0003-Abaddon->, but in the Greek <1673-Hellenikos-> tongue hath <2192-echo-> [his] name <3686-onoma-> Apollyon <0623-Apolluon->.

:12 One <3391-mia-> woe <3759-ouai-> is past <0565-aperchomai->; [and], behold <2400-idou->, there come <2064-erchomai-> two <1417-duo-> woes <3759-ouai-> more <2089-eti-> hereafter <5023-tauta->.

:13. And the sixth <1623-hektos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> sounded <4537-salpizo->, and I heard <0191-akouo-> a voice <5456-phone-> from the four <5064-tessares-> horns <2768-keras-> of the golden <5552-chruseos-> altar <2379-thusiasterion-> which <3588-ho-> is before <1799-enopion-> God <2316-theos->,

:14 Saying <3004-lego-> to the sixth <1623-hektos-> angel which <3739-hos-> had <2192-echo-> the trumpet <4536-salpigx->, Loose <3089-luo-> the four <5064-tessares-> angels <0032-aggelos-> which <3588-ho-> are bound <1210-deo-> in the great <3173-megas-> river <4215-potamos-> Euphrates <2166-Euphrates->.

:15 And the four <5064-tessares-> angels <0032-aggelos-> were loosed <3089-luo->, which <3588-ho-> were prepared <2090-hetoimazo-> for an hour <5610-hora->, and a day <2250-hemera->, and a month <3376-men->, and a year <1763-eniautos->, for to slay <0615-apokteino-> the third <5154-tritos-> part of men <0444-anthropos->.

:16 And the number <0706-arithmos-> of the army <4753-strateuma-> of the horsemen <2461-hippikon-> [were] two <1417-duo-> hundred <3461-murias-> thousand <3461-murias-> thousand <3461-murias->: and I heard <0191-akouo-> the number <0706-arithmos-> of them.

:19 For their power <1849-exousia-> is in their mouth <4750-stoma->, and in their tails <3769-oura->: for their tails <3769-oura-> [were] like <3664-homoios-> unto serpents <3789-ophis->, and had <2192-echo-> heads <2776-kephale->, and with them they do hurt <0091-adikeo->.

:21 Neither <3756-ou-> repented <3340-metanoeo-> they of their murders <5408-phonos->, nor <3777-oute-> of their sorceries <5331-pharmakeia->, nor <3777-oute-> of their fornication <4202-porneia->, nor <3777-oute-> of their thefts <2809-klemma->.

:Revelation 11

:1. :8 And their dead <4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-ptoma-> [shall lie] in the street <4113-plateia-> of the great <3173-megas-> city <4172-polis->, which <3748-hostis-> spiritually <4153-pneumatikos-> is called <2564-kaleo-> Sodom <4670-Sodoma-> and Egypt <0125-Aiguptos->, where <3699-hopou-> also <2532-kai-> our Lord <2962-kurios-> was crucified <4717-stauroo->.

:9 And they of the people <2992-laos-> and kindreds <5443-phule-> and tongues <1100-glossa-> and nations <1484-ethnos-> shall see <0991-blepo-> their dead <4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-ptoma-> three <5140-treis-> days <2250-hemera-> and an half <2255-hemisu->, and shall not suffer <0863-aphiemi-> their dead <4430-ptoma-> bodies <4430-ptoma-> to be put <5087-tithemi-> in graves <3418-mnema->.

:6 And he opened <0455-anoigo-> his mouth <4750-stoma-> in blasphemy <0988-blasphemia-> against <4314-pros-> God <2316-theos->, to blaspheme <0987-blasphemeo-> his name <3686-onoma->, and his tabernacle <4633-skene->, and them that dwell <4637-skenoo-> in heaven <3772-ouranos->.

:7 And it was given <1325-didomi-> unto him to make <4160-poieo-> war <4171-polemos-> with the saints <0040-hagios->, and to overcome <3528-nikao-> them: and power <1849-exousia-> was given <1325-didomi-> him over <1909-epi-> all <3956-pas-> kindreds <5443-phule->, and tongues <1100-glossa->, and nations <1484-ethnos->.

:9 If <1487-ei-> any <1536-ei tis-> man have <2192-echo-> an ear <3775-ous->, let him hear <0191-akouo->.

:10 He that leadeth <4863-sunago-> into captivity <0161-aichmalosia-> shall go <5217-hupago-> into <1519-eis-> captivity <0161-aichmalosia->: he that killeth <0615-apokteino-> with the sword <3162-machaira-> must <1163-dei-> be killed <0615-apokteino-> with the sword <3162-machaira->. :15 And he had power <1325-didomi-> to give <1325-didomi-> life <4151-pneuma-> unto the image <1504-eikon-> of the beast <2342-therion->, that the image <1504-eikon-> of the beast <2342-therion-> should both <2532-kai-> speak <2980-laleo->, and cause <4160-poieo-> that as many <3745-hosos-> as would not worship <4352-proskuneo-> the image <1504-eikon-> of the beast <2342-therion-> should be killed <0615-apokteino->.

:16 And he causeth <4160-poieo-> all <3956-pas->, both small <3398-mikros-> and great <3173-megas->, rich <4145-plousios-> and poor <4434-ptochos->, free <1658-eleutheros-> and bond <1401-doulos->, to receive <1325-didomi-> a mark <5480-charagma-> in their right <1188-dexios-> hand <5495-cheir->, or <2228-e-> in their foreheads <3359-metopon->:

:17 And that no <3361-me-> man <5100-tis-> might <1410-dunamai-> buy <0059-agorazo-> or <2228-e-> sell <4453-poleo->, save <1508-ei me-> he that had <2192-echo-> the mark <5480-charagma->, or <2228-e-> the name <3686-onoma-> of the beast <2342-therion->, or <2228-e-> the number <0706-arithmos-> of his name <3686-onoma->.

:18 Here <5602-hode-> is wisdom <4678-sophia->. :6 And the seven <2033-hepta-> angels <0032-aggelos-> came <1831-exerchomai-> out of the temple <3485-naos->, having <2192-echo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> plagues <4127-plege->, clothed <1746-enduo-> in pure <2513-katharos-> and white <2986-lampros-> linen <3043-linon->, and having <2192-echo-> their breasts <4738-stethos-> girded <4024-perizonnumi-> with golden <5552-chruseos-> girdles <2223-zone->.

:13 And I saw <1492-eido-> three <5140-treis-> unclean <0169-akathartos-> spirits <4151-pneuma-> like <3664-homoios-> frogs <0944-batrachos-> [come] out of the mouth <4750-stoma-> of the dragon <1404-drakon->, and out of the mouth <4750-stoma-> of the beast <2342-therion->, and out of the mouth <4750-stoma-> of the false <5578-pseudoprophetes-> prophet <5578-pseudoprophetes->.

:14 For they are the spirits <4151-pneuma-> of devils <1142-daimon->, working <4160-poieo-> miracles <4592-semeion->, [which] go <1607-ekporeuomai-> forth <1607-ekporeuomai-> unto the kings <0935-basileus-> of the earth <1093-ge-> and of the whole <3650-holos-> world <3629-oiktirmon->, to gather <4863-sunago-> them to the battle <4171-polemos-> of that great <3173-megas-> day <2250-hemera-> of God <2316-theos-> Almighty <3841-pantokrator->.

:18 And there were voices <5456-phone->, and thunders <1027-bronte->, and lightnings <0796-astrape->; and there was a great <3173-megas-> earthquake <4578-seismos->, such <3634-hoios-> as was not since <3739-hos-> men <0444-anthropos-> were upon the earth <1093-ge->, so <5082-telikoutos-> mighty <5082-telikoutos-> an earthquake <4578-seismos->, [and] so <3779-houto-> great <3173-megas->.

:7. And the angel <0032-aggelos-> said <2036-epo-> unto me, Wherefore <1302-diati-> didst thou marvel <2296-thaumazo->? I will tell <2046-ereo-> thee the mystery <3466-musterion-> of the woman <1135-gune->, and of the beast <2342-therion-> that carrieth <0941-bastazo-> her, which <3588-ho-> hath <2192-echo-> the seven <2033-hepta-> heads <2776-kephale-> and ten <1176-deka-> horns <2768-keras->.

:8 The beast <2342-therion-> that thou sawest <1492-eido-> was, and is not; and shall ascend <0305-anabaino-> out of the bottomless <0012-abussos-> pit, and go <5217-hupago-> into <1519-eis-> perdition <0684-apoleia->: and they that dwell <2730-katoikeo-> on <1909-epi-> the earth <1093-ge-> shall wonder <2296-thaumazo->, whose <3739-hos-> names <3686-onoma-> were not written <1125-grapho-> in the book <0976-biblos-> of life <2222-zoe-> from the foundation <2602-katabole-> of the world <2889-kosmos->, when they behold <0991-blepo-> the beast <2342-therion-> that was, and is not, and yet <2539-kaiper-> is.

:9 And here <5602-hode-> [is] the mind <3563-nous-> which <3588-ho-> hath <2192-echo-> wisdom <4678-sophia->. The seven <2033-hepta-> heads <2776-kephale-> are seven <2033-hepta-> mountains <3735-oros->, on <1909-epi-> which <0846-autos-> the woman <1135-gune-> sitteth <2521-kathemai->.

:10 And there are seven <2033-hepta-> kings <0935-basileus->: five <4002-pente-> are fallen <4098-pipto->, and one <1520-heis-> is, [and] the other <0243-allos-> is not yet <3768-oupo-> come <2064-erchomai->; and when <3752-hotan-> he cometh <2064-erchomai->, he must <1163-dei-> continue <3306-meno-> a short <3641-oligos-> space.

:11 And the beast <2342-therion-> that was, and is not, even <2532-kai-> he is the eighth <3590-ogdoos->, and is of the seven <2033-hepta->, and goeth <5217-hupago-> into <1519-eis-> perdition <0684-apoleia->.

:12 And the ten <1176-deka-> horns <2768-keras-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido-> are ten <1176-deka-> kings <0935-basileus->, which <3748-hostis-> have received <2983-lambano-> no <3768-oupo-> kingdom <0932-basileia-> as yet <3768-oupo->; but receive <2983-lambano-> power <1849-exousia-> as kings <0935-basileus-> one <3391-mia-> hour <5610-hora-> with the beast <2342-therion->.

:13 These <3778-houtos-> have <2192-echo-> one <3391-mia-> mind <1106-gnome->, and shall give <1239-diadidomai-> their power <1411-dunamis-> and strength <1849-exousia-> unto the beast <2342-therion->.

:14. These <3778-houtos-> shall make <4170-polemeo-> war <4170-polemeo-> with the Lamb <0721-arnion->, and the Lamb <0721-arnion-> shall overcome <3528-nikao-> them: for he is Lord <2962-kurios-> of lords <2962-kurios->, and King <0935-basileus-> of kings <0935-basileus->: and they that are with him [are] called <2822-kletos->, and chosen <1588-eklektos->, and faithful <4103-pistos->.

:15 And he saith <3004-lego-> unto me, The waters <5204-hudor-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido->, where <3757-hou-> the whore <4204-porne-> sitteth <2521-kathemai->, are peoples <2992-laos->, and multitudes <3793-ochlos->, and nations <1484-ethnos->, and tongues <1100-glossa->.

:16 And the ten <1176-deka-> horns <2768-keras-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido-> upon the beast <2342-therion->, these <3778-houtos-> shall hate <3404-miseo-> the whore <4204-porne->, and shall make <4160-poieo-> her desolate <2049-eremoo-> and naked <1131-gumnos->, and shall eat <5315-phago-> her flesh <4561-sarx->, and burn <2618-katakaio-> her with fire <4442-pur->.

:17 For God <2316-theos-> hath put <1325-didomi-> in their hearts <2588-kardia-> to fulfil <4160-poieo-> his will <1106-gnome->, and to agree <4160-poieo->, and give <1325-didomi-> their kingdom <0932-basileia-> unto the beast <2342-therion->, until <0891-achri-> the words <4487-rhema-> of God <2316-theos-> shall be fulfilled <5055-teleo->.

:18 And the woman <1135-gune-> which <3739-hos-> thou sawest <1492-eido-> is that great <3173-megas-> city <4172-polis->, which <3588-ho-> reigneth <0932-basileia-> over <1909-epi-> the kings <0935-basileus-> of the earth <1093-ge->.

:Revelation 18

:1. And after <3326-meta-> these <5023-tauta-> things I saw <1492-eido-> another <0243-allos-> angel <0032-aggelos-> come <2597-katabaino-> down <2597-katabaino-> from heaven <3772-ouranos->, having <2192-echo-> great <3173-megas-> power <1849-exousia->; and the earth <1093-ge-> was lightened <5461-photizo-> with his glory <1391-doxa->.

:2 And he cried <2896-krazo-> mightily <2479-ischus-> with a strong <3173-megas-> voice <5456-phone->, saying <3004-lego->, Babylon <0897-Babulon-> the great <3173-megas-> is fallen <4098-pipto->, is fallen <4098-pipto->, and is become <1096-ginomai-> the habitation <2732-katoiketerion-> of devils <1142-daimon->, and the hold <5438-phulake-> of every <3956-pas-> foul <0169-akathartos-> spirit <4151-pneuma->, and a cage <5438-phulake-> of every <3956-pas-> unclean <0169-akathartos-> and hateful <3404-miseo-> bird <3732-orneon->.

:3 For all <3956-pas-> nations <1484-ethnos-> have drunk of the wine <3631-oinos-> of the wrath <2372-thumos-> of her fornication <4202-porneia->, and the kings <0935-basileus-> of the earth <1093-ge-> have committed <4203-porneuo-> fornication <4203-porneuo-> with her, and the merchants <1713-emporos-> of the earth <1093-ge-> are waxed <4147-plouteo-> rich <4147-plouteo-> through <1537-ek-> the abundance <1411-dunamis-> of her delicacies <4764-strenos->.

:4 And I heard <0191-akouo-> another <0243-allos-> voice <5456-phone-> from heaven <3772-ouranos->, saying <3004-lego->, Come <1831-exerchomai-> out of her, my people <2992-laos->, that ye be not partakers <4790-sugkoinoneo-> of her sins <0266-hamartia->, and that ye receive <2983-lambano-> not of her plagues <4127-plege->.

:5 For her sins <0266-hamartia-> have reached <0190-akoloutheo-> unto heaven <3772-ouranos->, and God <2316-theos-> hath remembered <3421-mnemoneuo-> her iniquities <0092-adikema->.

:6 Reward <0591-apodidomi-> her even <2532-kai-> as she rewarded <0591-apodidomi-> you, and double <1363-diploo-> unto her double <1362-diplous-> according <2596-kata-> to her works <2041-ergon->: in the cup <4221-poterion-> which <3739-hos-> she hath filled <2767-kerannumi-> fill <2767-kerannumi-> to her double <1362-diplous->.

:7 How <3745-hosos-> much <3745-hosos-> she hath glorified <1392-doxazo-> herself <1438-heautou->, and lived deliciously <4763-streniao->, so <5118-tosoutos-> much <5118-tosoutos-> torment <0929-basanismos-> and sorrow <3997-penthos-> give <1325-didomi-> her: for she saith <3004-lego-> in her heart <2588-kardia->, I sit <2521-kathemai-> a queen <0938-basilissa->, and am <1510-eimi-> no <3756-ou-> widow <5503-chera->, and shall see <1492-eido-> no <3364-ou me-> sorrow <3997-penthos->.

:8 Therefore <5124-touto-> shall her plagues <4127-plege-> come <2240-heko-> in one <3391-mia-> day <2250-hemera->, death <2288-thanatos->, and mourning <3997-penthos->, and famine <3042-limos->; and she shall be utterly <2618-katakaio-> burned <2618-katakaio-> with fire <4442-pur->: for strong <2478-ischuros-> [is] the Lord <2962-kurios-> God <2316-theos-> who <3588-ho-> judgeth <2919-krino-> her.

:9. And the kings <0935-basileus-> of the earth <1093-ge->, who <3588-ho-> have committed <4203-porneuo-> fornication <4203-porneuo-> and lived deliciously <4763-streniao-> with her, shall bewail <2799-klaio-> her, and lament <2875-kopto-> for her, when <3752-hotan-> they shall see <0991-blepo-> the smoke <2586-kapnos-> of her burning <4451-purosis->,

:10 Standing <2476-histemi-> afar <3113-makrothen-> off <0575-apo-> for the fear <5401-phobos-> of her torment <0929-basanismos->, saying <3004-lego->, Alas <3758-oua->, alas <3758-oua->, that great <3173-megas-> city <4172-polis-> Babylon <0897-Babulon->, that mighty <2478-ischuros-> city <4172-polis->! for in one <3391-mia-> hour <5610-hora-> is thy judgment <2920-krisis-> come <2064-erchomai->.

:11 And the merchants <1713-emporos-> of the earth <1093-ge-> shall weep <2799-klaio-> and mourn <3996-pentheo-> over <1909-epi-> her; for no <3762-oudeis-> man <3762-oudeis-> buyeth <0059-agorazo-> their merchandise <1117-gomos-> any <3765-ouketi-> more <3765-ouketi->:

:12 The merchandise <1117-gomos-> of gold <5557-chrusos->, and silver <0696-arguros->, and precious <5093-timios-> stones <3037-lithos->, and of pearls <3135-margarites->, and fine linen <1040-bussos->, and purple <4209-porphura->, and silk <4596-serikos->, and scarlet <2847-kokkinos->, and all <3956-pas-> thyine <2367-thuinos-> wood <3586-xulon->, and all <3956-pas-> manner vessels <4632-skeuos-> of ivory <1661-elephantinos->, and all <3956-pas-> manner vessels <4632-skeuos-> of most precious <5093-timios-> wood <3586-xulon->, and of brass <5475-chalkos->, and iron <4604-sideros->, and marble <3139-marmaros->,

:13 And cinnamon <2792-kinamomon->, and odours <2368-thumiama->, and ointments <3464-muron->, and frankincense <3030-libanos->, and wine <3631-oinos->, and oil <1637-elaion->, and fine <4585-semidalis-> flour <4585-semidalis->, and wheat <4621-sitos->, and beasts <2934-ktenos->, and sheep <4263-probaton->, and horses <2462-hippos->, and chariots <4480-rheda->, and slaves <4983-soma->, and souls <5590-psuche-> of men <0444-anthropos->.

:14 And the fruits <3703-opora-> that thy soul <5590-psuche-> lusted <1937-epithumeo-> after are departed <0565-aperchomai-> from thee, and all <3956-pas-> things which <3588-ho-> were dainty <3045-liparos-> and goodly <2986-lampros-> are departed <0565-aperchomai-> from thee, and thou shalt find <2147-heurisko-> them no <3764-oudepo-> more <3765-ouketi-> at all <3364-ou me->.

:15 The merchants <1713-emporos-> of these <5130-touton-> things, which <3588-ho-> were made <4147-plouteo-> rich <4147-plouteo-> by her, shall stand <2476-histemi-> afar <3113-makrothen-> off <0575-apo-> for the fear <5401-phobos-> of her torment <0929-basanismos->, weeping <2799-klaio-> and wailing <3996-pentheo->,

:16 And saying <3004-lego->, Alas <3758-oua->, alas <3758-oua->, that great <3173-megas-> city <4172-polis->, that was clothed <4016-periballo-> in fine linen <1039-bussinos->, and purple <4210-porphurous->, and scarlet <2847-kokkinos->, and decked <5558-chrusoo-> with gold <5557-chrusos->, and precious <5093-timios-> stones <3037-lithos->, and pearls <3135-margarites->!

:17 For in one <3391-mia-> hour <5610-hora-> so <5118-tosoutos-> great <5118-tosoutos-> riches <4149-ploutos-> is come <2049-eremoo-> to nought <2049-eremoo->. And every <3956-pas-> shipmaster <2942-kubernetes->, and all <3956-pas-> the company <3658-homilos-> in ships <4143-ploion->, and sailors <3492-nautes->, and as many <3745-hosos-> as trade <2038-ergazomai-> by sea <2281-thalassa->, stood <2476-histemi-> afar <3113-makrothen-> off <0575-apo->,

:19 And they cast <0906-ballo-> dust <5522-choos-> on <1909-epi-> their heads <2776-kephale->, and cried <2896-krazo->, weeping <2799-klaio-> and wailing <3996-pentheo->, saying <3004-lego->, Alas <3758-oua->, alas <3758-oua->, that great <3173-megas-> city <4172-polis->, wherein <3757-hou-> were made <4147-plouteo-> rich <4147-plouteo-> all <3956-pas-> that had <2192-echo-> ships <4143-ploion-> in the sea <2281-thalassa-> by reason <1537-ek-> of her costliness <5094-timiotes->! for in one hour <5610-hora-> is she made <2049-eremoo-> desolate <2049-eremoo->.

:23 And the light <5457-phos-> of a candle <3088-luchnos-> shall shine <5316-phaino-> no <3364-ou me-> more <2089-eti-> at all <3364-ou me-> in thee; and the voice <5456-phone-> of the bridegroom <3566-numphios-> and of the bride <3565-numphe-> shall be heard <0191-akouo-> no <3364-ou me-> more <2089-eti-> at all <3364-ou me-> in thee: for thy merchants <1713-emporos-> were the great <3175-megistanes-> men of the earth <1093-ge->; for by thy sorceries <5331-pharmakeia-> were all <3956-pas-> nations <1484-ethnos-> deceived <4105-planao->.

:24 And in her was found <2147-heurisko-> the blood <0129-haima-> of prophets <4396-prophetes->, and of saints <0040-hagios->, and of all <3956-pas-> that were slain <4969-sphazo-> upon the earth <1093-ge->.

:8 And to her was granted <1325-didomi-> that she should be arrayed <4016-periballo-> in fine linen <1039-bussinos->, clean <2513-katharos-> and white <2986-lampros->: for the fine linen <1039-bussinos-> is the righteousness <1345-dikaioma-> of saints <0040-hagios->.

:9 And he saith <3004-lego-> unto me, Write <1125-grapho->, Blessed <3107-makarios-> [are] they which are called <2564-kaleo-> unto the marriage <1062-gamos-> supper <1173-deipnon-> of the Lamb <0721-arnion->. :10 And I fell <4098-pipto-> at <1715-emprosthen-> his feet <4228-pous-> to worship <4352-proskuneo-> him. :13 And he [was] clothed <4016-periballo-> with a vesture <2440-himation-> dipped <0911-bapto-> in blood <0129-haima->: and his name <3686-onoma-> is called <2564-kaleo-> The Word <3056-logos-> of God <2316-theos->.

:14 And the armies <4753-strateuma-> [which <3588-ho-> were] in heaven <3772-ouranos-> followed <0190-akoloutheo-> him upon white <3022-leukos-> horses <2462-hippos->, clothed <1746-enduo-> in fine linen <1039-bussinos->, white <3022-leukos-> and clean <2513-katharos->.

:20 And the beast <2342-therion-> was taken <4084-piazo->, and with him the false <5578-pseudoprophetes-> prophet <5578-pseudoprophetes-> that wrought <4160-poieo-> miracles <4592-semeion-> before <1799-enopion-> him, with which <3739-hos-> he deceived <4105-planao-> them that had received <2983-lambano-> the mark <5480-charagma-> of the beast <2342-therion->, and them that worshipped <4352-proskuneo-> his image <1504-eikon->. :1. :19 And the foundations <2310-themelios-> of the wall <5038-teichos-> of the city <4172-polis-> [were] garnished <2885-kosmeo-> with all <3956-pas-> manner of precious <5093-timios-> stones <3037-lithos->. :21 And the twelve <1427-dodeka-> gates <4440-pulon-> [were] twelve <1427-dodeka-> pearls <3135-margarites->; every <1538-hekastos-> several <1520-heis-> gate <4440-pulon-> was of one <1520-heis-> pearl <1328-diermeneutes->: and the street <4113-plateia-> of the city <4172-polis-> [was] pure <2513-katharos-> gold <5553-chrusion->, as it were transparent <1307-diaphanes-> glass <5194-hualos->.

:22 And I saw <1492-eido-> no <3756-ou-> temple <3485-naos-> therein <0846-autos->: for the Lord <2962-kurios-> God <2316-theos-> Almighty <3841-pantokrator-> and the Lamb <0721-arnion-> are the temple <3485-naos-> of it.

:23 And the city <4172-polis-> had <2192-echo-> no <3756-ou-> need <5532-chreia-> of the sun <2246-helios->, neither <3761-oude-> of the moon <4582-selene->, to shine <5316-phaino-> in it: for the glory <1391-doxa-> of God <2316-theos-> did lighten <5461-photizo-> it, and the Lamb <0721-arnion-> [is] the light <3088-luchnos-> thereof <0846-autos->.
