:3 For, behold <2009 hinneh >, the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > cometh <3318 yatsa> > forth <3318 yatsa> > out of his place <4725 maqowm >, and will come <3381 yarad > down <3381 yarad >, and tread <1869 darak > upon the high <1116 bamah > places of the earth <0776 >erets >.

:4 And the mountains <2022 har > shall be molten <4549 macac > under <8478 tachath > him, and the valleys <6010 <emeq > shall be cleft <1234 baqa< >, as wax <1749 downag > before <6440 paniym > the fire <0784 >esh >, [and] as the waters <4325 mayim > [that are] poured <5064 nagar > down a steep <4174 mowrad > place.

:5 For the transgression <6588 pesha< > of Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob > [is] all <3605 kol > this <2063 zo>th >, and for the sins <2403 chatta>ah > of the house <1004 bayith > of Israel <3478 Yisra>el >. What <4310 miy > [is] the transgression <6588 pesha< > of Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob >? :6. Prophesy <5197 nataph > ye not, [say they to them that] prophesy <5197 nataph >:they shall not prophesy <5197 nataph > to them, [that] they shall not take <5253 nacag > shame <3639 k@limmah >.

:7 O [thou that art] named <0559 >amar > the house <1004 bayith > of Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob >, is the spirit <7307 ruwach > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > straitened <7114 qatsar >? [are] these <0428 >el-leh > his doings <4611 ma<alal >? do not my words <1697 dabar > do good <3190 yatab > to him that walketh <1980 halak > uprightly <3477 yashar >?

:8 Even of late <0865 >ethmowl > my people <5971 <am > is risen <6965 quwm > up as an enemy <0341 >oyeb >:ye pull <6584 pashat > off the robe <0145 >eder > with the garment <8008 salmah > from them that pass <5674 <abar > by securely <0983 betach > as men averse <7725 shuwb > from war <4421 milchamah >.

:9 The women <0802 >ishshah > of my people <5971 <am > have ye cast <1644 garash > out from their pleasant <8588 ta<anuwg > houses <1004 bayith >; from their children <5768 <owlel > have ye taken <3947 laqach > away my glory <1926 hadar > for ever <5769 <owlam >.

:10 Arise <6965 quwm > ye, and depart <3212 yalak >; for this <2063 zo>th > [is] not [your] rest <4496 m@nuwchah >:because <5668 <abuwr > it is polluted <2930 tame> >, it shall destroy <2254 chabal > [you], even with a sore <4834 marats > destruction <2256 chebel >.

:11 If <5863 <Iyey ha-<Abariym > a man <0376 >iysh > walking <1980 halak > in the spirit <7307 ruwach > and falsehood <8267 sheqer > do lie <3576 kazab >, [saying], I will prophesy <5197 nataph > unto thee of wine <3196 yayin > and of strong <7941 shekar > drink <7941 shekar >; he shall even be the prophet <5197 nataph > of this <2088 zeh > people <5971 <am >.

I will surely assemble <0622 >acaph >, O Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob >, all <3605 kol > of thee; I will surely gather <6908 qabats > the remnant <7611 sh@>eriyth > of Israel <3478 Yisra>el >; I will put <7760 suwm > them together <3162 yachad > as the sheep <6629 tso>n > of Bozrah <1224 Botsrah >, as the flock <5739 <eder > in the midst <8432 tavek > of their fold <1699 dober >:they shall make great noise <1949 huwm > by reason of [the multitude of] men <0120 >adam >.

:13 The breaker <6555 parats > is come <5927 <alah > up before <6440 paniym > them:they have broken <6555 parats > up, and have passed <5674 <abar > through the gate <8179 sha<ar >, and are gone <3318 yatsa> > out by it:and their king <4428 melek > shall pass <5674 <abar > before <6440 paniym > them, and the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > on the head <7218 ro>sh > of them.

:Micah 3

:1. And I said <0559 >amar >, Hear <8085 shama< >, I pray <4994 na> > you, O heads <7218 ro>sh > of Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob >, and ye princes <7101 qatsiyn > of the house <1004 bayith > of Israel <3478 Yisra>el >; [Is it] not for you to know <3045 yada< > judgment <4941 mishpat >?

:2 Who <4310 miy > hate <8130 sane> > the good <2896 towb >, and love <0157 >ahab > the evil <7451 ra< >; who <4310 miy > pluck <1497 gazal > off their skin <5785 <owr > from off them, and their flesh <7607 sh@>er > from off <5921 <al > their bones <6106 <etsem >;

:3 Who <4310 miy > also eat <0398 >akal > the flesh <7607 sh@>er > of my people <5971 <am >, and flay <6584 pashat > their skin <5785 <owr > from off <5921 <al > them; and they break <6746 ts@lochiyth > their bones <6106 <etsem >, and chop <6566 paras > them in pieces, as for the pot <5518 ciyr >, and as flesh <1320 basar > within <8432 tavek > the caldron <7037 qallachath >.

:4 Then <0227 >az > shall they cry <2199 za<aq > unto the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, but he will not hear <6030 <anah > them:he will even hide <5641 cathar > his face <6440 paniym > from them at that time <6256 <eth >, as they have behaved <7489 ra<a< > themselves ill <7489 ra<a< > in their doings <4611 ma<alal >.

:5 Thus <3541 koh > saith <0559 >amar > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > concerning <5921 <al > the prophets <5030 nabiy> > that make my people <5971 <am > err <8582 ta<ah >, that bite <5391 nashak > with their teeth <8127 shen >, and cry <7121 qara> >, Peace <7965 shalowm >; and he that putteth <5414 nathan > not into <5921 <al > their mouths <6310 peh >, they even prepare <6942 qadash > war <4421 milchamah > against <5921 <al > him.

:6 Therefore <3651 ken > night <3915 layil > [shall be] unto you, that ye shall not have a vision <2377 chazown >; and it shall be dark <2821 chashak > unto you, that ye shall not divine <7080 qacam >; and the sun <8121 shemesh > shall go <0935 bow> > down over <5921 <al > the prophets <5030 nabiy> >, and the day <3117 yowm > shall be dark <6937 qadar > over <5921 <al > them.

:7 Then shall the seers <2374 chozeh > be ashamed <0954 buwsh >, and the diviners <7080 qacam > confounded <2659 chapher >:yea, they shall all <3605 kol > cover <5844 <atah > their lips <8222 sapham >; for [there is] no <0369 >ayin > answer <4617 ma<aneh > of God <0430 >elohiym >.

:8. But truly <0199 >uwlam > I am full <4390 male> > of power <3581 koach > by the spirit <7307 ruwach > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, and of judgment <4941 mishpat >, and of might <1369 g@buwrah >, to declare <5046 nagad > unto Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob > his transgression <6588 pesha< >, and to Israel <3478 Yisra>el > his sin <2403 chatta>ah >.

:11 The heads <7218 ro>sh > thereof judge <8199 shaphat > for reward <7810 shachad >, and the priests <3548 kohen > thereof teach <3384 yarah > for hire <4242 m@chiyr >, and the prophets <5030 nabiy> > thereof divine <7080 qacam > for money <3701 keceph >:yet will they lean <8172 sha<an > upon the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, and say <0559 >amar >, [Is] not the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > among <7130 qereb > us? none <3808 lo> > evil <7451 ra< > can come <0935 bow> > upon us.

:12 Therefore <3651 ken > shall Zion <6726 Tsiyown > for your sake <1558 galal > be plowed <2790 charash > [as] a field <7704 sadeh >, and Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim > shall become <1961 hayah > heaps <5856 <iy >, and the mountain <2022 har > of the house <1004 bayith > as the high <1116 bamah > places of the forest <3293 ya<ar >.

:Micah 4

:1. But in the last <0319 >achariyth > days <3117 yowm > it shall come <1961 hayah > to pass, [that] the mountain <2022 har > of the house <1004 bayith > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > shall be established <3559 kuwn > in the top <7218 ro>sh > of the mountains <2022 har >, and it shall be exalted <5375 nasa> > above the hills <1389 gib<ah >; and people <5971 <am > shall flow <5102 nahar > unto it.

:2 And many <7227 rab > nations <1471 gowy > shall come <1980 halak >, and say <0559 >amar >, Come <3212 yalak >, and let us go <5927 <alah > up to the mountain <2022 har > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, and to the house <1004 bayith > of the God <0430 >elohiym > of Jacob <3290 Ya<aqob >; and he will teach <3384 yarah > us of his ways <1870 derek >, and we will walk <3212 yalak > in his paths <0734 >orach >:for the law <8451 towrah > shall go <3318 yatsa> > forth <3318 yatsa> > of Zion <6726 Tsiyown >, and the word <1697 dabar > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > from Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim >.

:4 But they shall sit <3427 yashab > every man <0376 >iysh > under <8478 tachath > his vine <1612 gephen > and under <8478 tachath > his fig <8384 t@>en > tree; and none <0369 >ayin > shall make [them] afraid <2729 charad >:for the mouth <6310 peh > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> > hath spoken <1696 dabar > [it].

:5 For all <3605 kol > people <5971 <am > will walk <3212 yalak > every <0376 >iysh > one <0376 >iysh > in the name <8034 shem > of his god <0430 >elohiym >, and we will walk <3212 yalak > in the name <8034 shem > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > our God <0430 >elohiym > for ever <5769 <owlam > and ever <5703 <ad >.

And thou, O tower <4026 migdal > of the flock <5739 <eder >, the strong <6076 <ophel > hold <5076 nadud > of the daughter <1323 bath > of Zion <6726 Tsiyown >, unto thee shall it come <0857 >athah >, even the first <7223 ri>shown > dominion <4475 memshalah >; the kingdom <4467 mamlakah > shall come <0935 bow> > to the daughter <1323 bath > of Jerusalem <3389 Y@ruwshalaim >.

:12 But they know <3045 yada< > not the thoughts <4284 machashabah > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah >, neither <3808 lo> > understand <0995 biyn > they his counsel <6098 <etsah >:for he shall gather <6908 qabats > them as the sheaves <5995 <amiyr > into the floor <1637 goren >.

:6 And they shall waste <7489 ra<a< > the land <0776 >erets > of Assyria <0804 >Ashshuwr > with the sword <2719 chereb >, and the land <0776 >erets > of Nimrod <5248 Nimrowd > in the entrances <6607 pethach > thereof:thus shall he deliver <5337 natsal > [us] from the Assyrian <0804 >Ashshuwr >, when <3588 kiy > he cometh <0935 bow> > into our land <0776 >erets >, and when <3588 kiy > he treadeth <1869 darak > within our borders <1366 g@buwl >.
