:Hebrews 2

:1. Therefore <5124-touto-> we ought <1163-dei-> to give the more <4056-perissoteros-> earnest <4056-perissoteros-> heed <4337-prosecho-> to the things which we have heard <0191-akouo->, lest <3379-mepote-> at <3379-mepote-> any <3379-mepote-> time <4218-pote-> we should let [them] slip <3901-pararrhueo->.

:6 But one <5100-tis-> in a certain <4225-pou-> place testified <1263-diamarturomai->, saying <3004-lego->, What <5101-tis-> is man <0444-anthropos->, that thou art mindful <3403-mimnesko-> of him? or <2228-e-> the son <5207-huios-> of man <0444-anthropos->, that thou visitest <1980-episkeptomai-> him?

:7 Thou madest <1642-elattoo-> him a little <1024-brachus-> lower <1642-elattoo-> than <3844-para-> the angels <0032-aggelos->; thou crownedst <4737-stephanoo-> him with glory <1391-doxa-> and honour <5092-time->, and didst set <2525-kathistemi-> him over <1909-epi-> the works <2041-ergon-> of thy hands <5495-cheir->:

:8 Thou hast put <5293-hupotasso-> all <3956-pas-> things in subjection <5293-hupotasso-> under <5270-hupokato-> his feet <4228-pous->. :13 And again <3825-palin->, I will put <3982-peitho-> my trust <3982-peitho-> in him. And again <3825-palin->, Behold <2400-idou-> I and the children <3813-paidion-> which <3739-hos-> God <2316-theos-> hath given <1325-didomi-> me.

:14. Forasmuch <1893-epei-> then <3767-oun-> as the children <3813-paidion-> are partakers <2841-koinoneo-> of flesh <4561-sarx-> and blood <0129-haima->, he also <2532-kai-> himself <0846-autos-> likewise <3898-paraplesios-> took <3348-metecho-> part <3348-metecho-> of the same <0846-autos->; that through <1223-dia-> death <2288-thanatos-> he might destroy <2673-katargeo-> him that had <2192-echo-> the power <2904-kratos-> of death <2288-thanatos->, that is, the devil <1228-diabolos->;

:Hebrews 3

:1. Wherefore <3606-hothen->, holy <0040-hagios-> brethren <0080-adephos->, partakers <3353-metochos-> of the heavenly <2032-epouranios-> calling <2821-klesis->, consider <2657-katanoeo-> the Apostle <0652-apostolos-> and High <0749-archiereus-> Priest <0749-archiereus-> of our profession <3671-homologia->, Christ <5547-Christos-> Jesus <2424-Iesous->;

:2 Who was faithful <4103-pistos-> to him that appointed <4160-poieo-> him, as also <2532-kai-> Moses <3475-Moseus-> [was faithful] in all <3650-holos-> his house <3624-oikos->.

:3 For this <3778-houtos-> [man] was counted <0515-axioo-> worthy <0515-axioo-> of more <4119-pleion-> glory <1391-doxa-> than <3844-para-> Moses <3475-Moseus->, inasmuch <3745-hosos-> as he who hath builded <2680-kataskeuazo-> the house <3624-oikos-> hath <2192-echo-> more <4119-pleion-> honour <5092-time-> than the house <3624-oikos->.

:4 For every <3956-pas-> house <3624-oikos-> is builded <2680-kataskeuazo-> by some <5100-tis-> [man]; but he that built <2680-kataskeuazo-> all <3956-pas-> things [is] God <2316-theos->.

:5 And Moses <3475-Moseus-> verily <3303-men-> [was] faithful <4103-pistos-> in all <3650-holos-> his house <3624-oikos->, as a servant <2324-therapon->, for a testimony <3142-marturion-> of those <3588-ho-> things which were to be spoken <2980-laleo-> after;

:6 But Christ <5547-Christos-> as a son <5207-huios-> over <1909-epi-> his own <0848-hautou-> house <3624-oikos->; whose <3739-hos-> house <3624-oikos-> are we, if <1437-ean-> we hold <2722-katecho-> fast <2722-katecho-> the confidence <3954-parrhesia-> and the rejoicing <2745-kauchema-> of the hope <1680-elpis-> firm <0949-bebaios-> unto the end <5056-telos->.

:7. Wherefore <1352-dio-> (as the Holy <0040-hagios-> Ghost <4151-pneuma-> saith <3004-lego->, To day <4594-semeron-> if <1437-ean-> ye will hear <0191-akouo-> his voice <5456-phone->,

:8 Harden <4645-skleruno-> not your <5216-humon-> hearts <2588-kardia->, as in the provocation <3894-parapikrasmos->, in the day <2250-hemera-> of temptation <3986-peirasmos-> in the wilderness <2048-eremos->:

:9 When <3756-ou-> your <5216-humon-> fathers <3962-pater-> tempted <3985-peirazo-> me, proved <1381-dokimazo-> me, and saw <1492-eido-> my works <2041-ergon-> forty <5062-tessarakonta-> years <2094-etos->.

:10 Wherefore <1352-dio-> I was grieved <4360-prosochthizo-> with that generation <1074-genea->, and said <2036-epo->, They do alway <0104-aei-> err <4105-planao-> in [their] heart <2588-kardia->; and they have not known <1097-ginosko-> my ways <3598-hodos->.

:11 So <5613-hos-> I sware <3660-omnuo-> in my wrath <3709-orge->, They shall not enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> my rest <2663-katapausis->.)

:12 Take heed <0991-blepo->, brethren <0080-adephos->, lest <3379-mepote-> there be in any <5100-tis-> of you an evil <4190-poneros-> heart <2588-kardia-> of unbelief <0570-apaistia->, in departing <0868-aphistemi-> from the living <2198-zao-> God <2316-theos->.

:13 But exhort <3870-parakaleo-> one <1438-heautou-> another <1438-heautou-> daily <2250-hemera->, while <3739-hos-> it is called <2564-kaleo-> To day <4594-semeron->; lest <3361-me-> any <5100-tis-> of you be hardened <4645-skleruno-> through the deceitfulness <0539-apate-> of sin <0266-hamartia->.

:14 For we are made <1096-ginomai-> partakers <3353-metochos-> of Christ <5547-Christos->, if <1437-ean-> we hold <2722-katecho-> the beginning <0746-arche-> of our confidence <5287-hupostasis-> stedfast <0949-bebaios-> unto the end <5056-telos->;

:15 While <3588-ho-> it is said <3004-lego->, To day <4594-semeron-> if <1437-ean-> ye will hear <0191-akouo-> his voice <5456-phone->, harden <4645-skleruno-> not your <5216-humon-> hearts <2588-kardia->, as in the provocation <3894-parapikrasmos->.

:16 For some <5100-tis->, when they had heard <0191-akouo->, did provoke <3893-parapikraino->: howbeit <0235-alla-> not all <3956-pas-> that came <1831-exerchomai-> out of Egypt <0125-Aiguptos-> by Moses <3475-Moseus->.

:17 But with whom <5101-tis-> was he grieved <4360-prosochthizo-> forty <5062-tessarakonta-> years <2094-etos->? [was it] not with them that had sinned <0264-hamartano->, whose <3739-hos-> carcases <2966-kolon-> fell <4098-pipto-> in the wilderness <2048-eremos->?

:18 And to whom <5101-tis-> sware <3660-omnuo-> he that they should not enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> his rest <2663-katapausis->, but to them that believed <0544-apeitheo-> not?

:19 So <2532-kai-> we see <0991-blepo-> that they could <1410-dunamai-> not enter <1525-eiserchomai-> in because <1223-dia-> of unbelief <0570-apaistia->.

:Hebrews 4

:1. Let us therefore <3767-oun-> fear <5399-phobeo->, lest <3379-mepote->, a promise <1860-epaggelia-> being left <2641-kataleipo-> [us] of entering <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> his rest <2663-katapausis->, any <5100-tis-> of you should seem <1380-dokeo-> to come <5302-hustereo-> short <5302-hustereo-> of it.

:3 For we which <3588-ho-> have believed <4100-pisteuo-> do enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> rest <2663-katapausis->, as he said <2046-ereo->, As I have sworn <3660-omnuo-> in my wrath <3709-orge->, if <1487-ei-> they shall enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> my rest <2663-katapausis->: although <2543-kaitoi-> the works <2041-ergon-> were finished <1096-ginomai-> from the foundation <2602-katabole-> of the world <2889-kosmos->.

:4 For he spake <2046-ereo-> in a certain <4225-pou-> place of the seventh <1442-hebdomos-> [day] on this <3779-houto-> wise <3779-houto->, And God <2316-theos-> did rest <2664-katapauo-> the seventh <1442-hebdomos-> day <2250-hemera-> from all <3956-pas-> his works <2041-ergon->.

:6 Seeing <1893-epei-> therefore <3767-oun-> it remaineth <0620-apoleipo-> that some <5100-tis-> must enter <1525-eiserchomai-> therein <0846-autos->, and they to whom it was first <4386-proteron-> preached <2097-euaggelizo-> entered <1525-eiserchomai-> not in because <1223-dia-> of unbelief <0543-apeitheia->:

:9 There remaineth <0620-apoleipo-> therefore <0686-ara-> a rest <4520-sabbatismos-> to the people <2992-laos-> of God <2316-theos->.

:10 For he that is entered <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> his rest <2663-katapausis->, he also <2532-kai-> hath ceased <2664-katapauo-> from his own <0848-hautou-> works <2041-ergon->, as God <2316-theos-> [did] from his.

:11. Let us labour <4704-spoudazo-> therefore <3767-oun-> to enter <1525-eiserchomai-> into <1519-eis-> that rest <2663-katapausis->, lest <3361-me-> any <5100-tis-> man fall <4098-pipto-> after <1722-en-> the same <0846-autos-> example <5262-hupodeigma-> of unbelief <0543-apeitheia->.

:12 For the word <3056-logos-> of God <2316-theos-> [is] quick <2198-zao->, and powerful <1756-energes->, and sharper <5114-tomoteros-> than <5228-huper-> any <3956-pas-> twoedged <1366-distomos-> sword <3162-machaira->, piercing <1338-diikneomai-> even to the dividing <3311-merismos-> asunder of soul <5590-psuche-> and spirit <4151-pneuma->, and of the joints <0719-harmos-> and marrow <3452-muelos->, and [is] a discerner <2924-kritikos-> of the thoughts <1761-enthumesis-> and intents <1771-ennoia-> of the heart <2588-kardia->.

:13 Neither <3756-ou-> is there any creature <2937-ktisis-> that is not manifest <0852-aphanes-> in his sight <1799-enopion->: but all <3956-pas-> things [are] naked <1131-gumnos-> and opened <5136-trachelizo-> unto the eyes <3788-ophthalmos-> of him with whom <3739-hos-> we have to do <3056-logos->.

:14 Seeing then <3767-oun-> that we have <2192-echo-> a great <3173-megas-> high <0749-archiereus-> priest <0749-archiereus->, that is passed <1330-dierchomai-> into the heavens <3772-ouranos->, Jesus <2424-Iesous-> the Son <5207-huios-> of God <2316-theos->, let us hold <2902-krateo-> fast [our] profession <3671-homologia->.

:15 For we have <2192-echo-> not an high <0749-archiereus-> priest <0749-archiereus-> which cannot <1410-dunamai-> be touched <4834-sumpatheo-> with the feeling <4834-sumpatheo-> of our infirmities <0769-astheneia->; but was in all <3956-pas-> points tempted <3985-peirazo-> like <3665-homoiotes-> as [we are, yet] without <5565-choris-> sin <0266-hamartia->.

:16 Let us therefore <3767-oun-> come <4334-proserchomai-> boldly <3954-parrhesia-> unto the throne <2362-thronos-> of grace <5485-charis->, that we may obtain <2983-lambano-> mercy <1656-eleos->, and find <2147-heurisko-> grace <5485-charis-> to help <0996-boetheia-> in time <2121-eukairos-> of need <2121-eukairos->.

:Hebrews 5

:1. :Hebrews 8

:1. :Hebrews 10

:1. :Hebrews 11
