: 8 The silver <3701 keceph > [ is ] mine , and the gold <2091 zahab > [ is ] mine , saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > of hosts <6635 tsaba> > .

: 12 If <2005 hen > one bear <5375 nasa> > holy <6944 qodesh > flesh <1320 basar > in the skirt <3671 kanaph > of his garment <0899 beged > , and with his skirt <3671 kanaph > do touch <5060 naga< > bread <3899 lechem > , or pottage <5138 naziyd > , or wine <3196 yayin > , or oil <8081 shemen > , or any <3605 kol > meat <3978 ma>akal > , shall it be holy <6942 qadash > ? And the priests <3548 kohen > answered <6030 <anah > and said <0559 >amar > , No <3808 lo> > .
: 13 Then said <0559 >amar > Haggai <2292 Chaggay > , If <0518 >im > [ one that is ] unclean <2931 tame> > by a dead body <5315 nephesh > touch <5060 naga< > any <3605 kol > of these <0428 >el - leh > , shall it be unclean <2930 tame> > ? And the priests <3548 kohen > answered <6030 <anah > and said <0559 >amar > , It shall be unclean <2930 tame> > .

: 15 And now <4994 na> > , I pray <4994 na> > you , consider from this <2088 zeh > day <3117 yowm > and upward <4605 ma<al > , from before <2962 terem > a stone <68> was laid <7760 suwm > upon a stone <68> in the temple <1964 heykal > of the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > :
: 16 Since those [ days ] were , when [ one ] came <0935 bow> > to an heap <6194 <arem > of twenty <6242 <esriym > [ measures ] , there were [ but ] ten <6235 <eser > : when [ one ] came <0935 bow> > to the pressfat <3342 yeqeb > for to draw <2834 chasaph > out fifty <2572 chamishshiym > [ vessels ] out of the press <6333 puwrah > , there were [ but ] twenty <6242 <esriym > .
: 17 I smote <5221 nakah > you with blasting <7711 sh@dephah > and with mildew <3420 yeraqown > and with hail <1259 barad > in all <3605 kol > the labours <4639 ma<aseh > of your hands <3027 yad > ; yet ye [ turned ] not to me , saith <5002 n@>um > the LORD <3068 Y@hovah > .
: 18 Consider now <4994 na> > from this <2088 zeh > day <3117 yowm > and upward <4605 ma<al > , from the four <0702 >arba< > and twentieth <6242 <esriym > day <3117 yowm > of the ninth <8671 t@shiy<iy > [ month , even ] from the day <3117 yowm > that the foundation <3245 yacad > of the LORD S <3068 Y@hovah > temple <1964 heykal > was laid , consider [ it ] .
: 19 Is the seed <2233 zera< > yet <5750 <owd > in the barn <4035 m@guwrah > ? yea , as yet <5704 <ad > the vine <1612 gephen > , and the fig <8384 t@>en > tree , and the pomegranate <7416 rimmown > , and the olive <2132 zayith > tree <6086 <ets > , hath not brought <5375 nasa> > forth <5375 nasa> > : from this <2088 zeh > day <3117 yowm > will I bless <1288 barak > [ you ] .

: 21 Speak <0559 >amar > to Zerubbabel <2216 Z@rubbabel > , governor <6346 pechah > of Judah <3063 Y@huwdah > , saying <0559 >amar > , I will shake <7493 ra<ash > the heavens <8064 shamayim > and the earth <0776 >erets > ;
: 22 And I will overthrow <2015 haphak > the throne <3678 kicce> > of kingdoms <4467 mamlakah > , and I will destroy <8045 shamad > the strength <2392 chozeq > of the kingdoms <4467 mamlakah > of the heathen <1471 gowy > ; and I will overthrow <2015 haphak > the chariots <4818 merkabah > , and those that ride <7392 rakab > in them ; and the horses <5483 cuwc > and their riders <7392 rakab > shall come <3381 yarad > down <3381 yarad > , every <0376 >iysh > one <0376 >iysh > by the sword <2719 chereb > of his brother <0251 >ach > .
